I sent a cosplay picture of me andmy wings via PM! I think that was the 2nd day of using the wings and Anime Expo being so packed took some damage lol.
Wow, that is pretty awesome! You should show me some of your work. And you are telling me, these things take a ton of time, especially if you are a perfectionist and want them to come out nice and accurate. Takes me a while to satisfy with my finalized product >.< You could make a business out of it! Someone was telling me about how people pay good money for wings. A friend on Gaia actually wants to buy mine o3o
Wow, what a integrate use of items, I would have never thought of that! It does sound like a lot of work and not being a decent sewer, I'd totally fail xD Looks I can hire you to help me make stuff! LOL
Of course, you need to paint the eva form to get the desire color of the cosplay you are trying to make. However since Eva Foam absorbs paint and can have ugly finish, I use plasti-dip to cover the foam with a rubber like plastic coating before finishing it with primer and paint. Of yeah, a gloss finish finish to seal the paint and give it a shiny armor look ;D Since it's an armor based on an anime, it's not battle damaged so I don't have to worry to do those effects.
Ahaha, yeah that was one of many facepalm moments. I believe he got lost too. xD Hmm, how would you have made the Pokemon's wings? Do you make cosplay props? Have you seen the wings I made for Anime Expo a few weeks ago? They are not pro like in the show but I'm pretty proud of them lolz. I'm making black/gold armor from eva foam atm. o3o
I remember that episode. That Silent Hill 2 mannequin spider cosplay was a huge mess. xD I give the guy credit but omfg, it looked nasty being covered in all that gooey-ish makeup and holding up all the ligaments/heads. Loved how he was bigger than the doors, the struggle to get through was real! The cosplayers on that show seem always start one week prior to an event. I suppose it elevates the drama in order to entertain its viewers. //Shrugs.
