A bit of my personal Gaia history:
I joined Gaia in 5th grade because my friend named Alex swore to me that it was 'the coolest site ever'. Back then, I barely knew about the computer. However, because of Gaia, I fell in love with both the use of a computer and roleplaying. My teachers used to be shocked when reading my essays, especially fictional papers, because my writing was better than some graduating from high school. I owe all of my writing skills and to Gaia and the Barton Town roleplaying forums where I spent hours on end releasing so much of the imagination I longed to let free.
Interests:
Art (specifically drawing and painting), writing, music, psychology, other cultures, fluency in sarcasm
Music taste:
I am first and foremost a trancehead. My passion lies within the genre of EDM (Electronic Dance Music). I have been in the scene since my childhood, with my father being a DJ by night since 1997. My heart is trance, but I also enjoy house and ambient/chill out/electro tunes very much. I'm not a fan of hardcore or dubstep, although I have respect for the genres.

I am a complete and utter addict to video games. Here are a small fraction that I played and loved.
World of Warcraft - 7 year vet, still playing. Melarose, troll resto Druid on Darrowmere, hit me up!
League of Legends - Melarose, add me! I play this game the most right now smile I'm an excellent support.

A bit about my current self:
My name's Amanda, but I hate that name. My middle name is Rose, I like that one better. I'm almost 18 and I live in Connecticut, USA. I absolutely hate living here, and I hope to move to Europe in the future. I am a senior at a public high school, 17th in my class of 220. I'm going to Southern Connnecticut State University in September against my wishes on a full honors scholarship. I hope to major in Graphic Design. I have divorced parents, both remarried and one now separated again. I have two younger brothers from my mother and stepfather and a brother from my father and separated stepmother. I also have a sister. one of the few people who truly understands me.
I've had two real boyfriends. My first was a boy who still lives a house up from me. We were best friends and inseparable, and we dated from the summer after 8th grade until the first week of 11th. I met my last boyfriend, who I dated long distance until this past February. He lived 600 miles away in Canada. He ended it abruptly admist a very happy time, which hurt me deeply, and I am still dealing with that months later.
More random:
I took piano lessons for 12 years and guitar lessons for 2 years.
I will forever be a Harry Potter/LOTR fan... and yes, I read/saw all of Twilight up until the most recent.
Im in love with Naruto...so much. I was addicted to it in grammar school and have recently gotten in touch with my anime self again.
My favorite favorite favorite animal is the wolf, and a close second is the tiger.
I overthink every single possible thing. Sometimes it's a great quality, but more than often it's an extreme downfall.
