You emailed me yesterday while I was snowboarding har har. I wasn't gonna log in on top of a mountain. Also my cell is acting like a straight up b***h right now.
I'm training him to be my living cane, basically. He helps balance me while I walk, helps me up stairs, protects my bad knee from being bumped. If I'm in the chair, he has to tug me up inclines, pick things up for me, open and shut doors. He also gets my metal cane for me if I'm in the house. If I do end up falling, he helps break my fall and gets me to the ground safely. He's also learning to brace me when I get up from the ground, or when I'm getting out of a seat.
I do get a lot more attention when I use the chair, one reason I avoid it as much as possible. Otherwise it's just a lot of questions about what He does, if they can pet him (usually they cannot since he's working and training), and other things of that nature.
Yes it is, I was training him to work with a chair that day. We don't use it often but I like my dogs to be well rounded and able to handle anything that may happen.
