I'll be updating my "AWESOME QUOTE!" whenever I run into one. As a new one is put up, the old ones will be kept in my Journal here: Awesome Quotes!. EDIT July 15, 2013: I have not been active on Gaia for such a very long time, and I *rarely* go into the Forums, so I rarely see any awesome quotes. If you'd like to share an awesome quote with me, and possibly get it posted here on my profile, please leave me a Comment (not a PM, please) with the Awesome Quote and the username (or if it's someone IRL, their name) so that I can give credit where credit is due emotion_smilies/icon_yatta.gif

Yes, my signature says eight cats in the family. Actually, I need to update my siggie because we just recently re-homed one of our females with whom we have had issues for years (Punkin' Pie)... ever since her oldest Big Brother, Freak, died in 2008. She has been maladjusted ever since... and losing an older sibling EVERY SINGLE YEAR since Freak's death has just made her worse and worse. When we rescued 4 seven-day-old kittens from under our house (their mommy went missing smilies/icon_cry.gif ), Punkin' started her really bad behavior again. I've tried for several years to get her to be part of the family, which now is comprised mostly of cats younger than she is... but she didn't WANT to be part of the family. SO, my husband-creature and I decided that re-homing her was the best thing for her and everyone else. We told the adoption center that she does NOT get along with ANY other pets; she hates kids; and she would most likely do best with a single female as her new mommy (she hated my husband-creature for some reason). I know the adoption agency found her a perfect home :3 She's an absolutely gorgeous cat; and she's already fixed, de-clawed; and micro-chipped. She's indoors only, and is litter box trained. She's the perfect cat for an older lady who wants just one cat and wants to spoil her rotten. That's what she really needs- someone who can focus all of their attention on her with no other cats in the way. I'll miss Punkin' Pie, but she'll always be in my heart smilies/icon_heart.gif

So, about my age...I'm more than likely old enough to be your mother, but I am younger at heart than most of you guys smilies/icon_razz.gif smilies/icon_lol.gif
I collect toys, mostly fashion dolls (Barbie-types, but my latest kick has been Monster High. They are too adorable to resist smilies/icon_whee.gif LOL). I like to customize them (change the hair & sometimes make-up; dress them in the kinds of clothes I like to wear- not the fru-fru frilly pink crap). I like to make dioramas for them (my fave is my Kit Kat Club- it's a male-strip-club for the Barbies to hang out, get drunk & shove $50 bills into male stripper's g-strings). I also love Pinky St. dolls, Stikfas, NeonGenesis EVA toys (I love Rei & Asuka), interesting action figures (bunny-suit Anya comes to mind smilies/icon_biggrin.gif as well as my Marvel Legends Pouncing Black Panther figure), gashapon, Pokemon, Zim figures, Be@rBricks, Dunny (all sorts of vinyl artsy toys), Hello Kitty & of course anything CatWoman.
Those who know me know that I have a HUGE toy collection smilies/icon_3nodding.gif so I can totally relate to other 'over 30' toy collectors >.< I have had to whittle down my collection a great deal since 2010 when my husband-creature and I moved. I gave away my entire boxed MyScene Barbie line (I had everything in that line, up-to-date, including special releases that I could only find on eBay). I also gave away my boxed collection of Charice dolls (dolls exclusively made by doll artist Mikelman for distributor PaulDavid) , and several of my Living Dead Dolls. I pretty much stopped collecting new Barbies, but got hooked on Mattel's Monster High doll line *Oi!* I've tried to keep myself from getting every single piece of Monster High merch possible... and I have done a decent job of not buying the play-sets (doll furniture, houses, and cars), with just a few exceptions. Also, I refused to fork over the huge amounts of money people want for convention exclusives *roll eyes*. If I can't find it in the store, I don't need it in my collection smilies/icon_blaugh.gif I do, however, have every doll that has been released in a regular store since the line started in late 2010 smilies/icon_sweatdrop.gif That's a LOT of dolls smilies/icon_gonk.gif
I have also started a *small* collection of Lego Minifigs and Mega Blocks figures and a few play-sets. Theses are much smaller than Barbie-sized dolls, so they take up much less space ^_^
Most of my stuff is still packed (we JUST moved again right before the Yarnell fire... and good thing we did. If we hadn't moved, we wouldn't have had room for my in-laws and their 8 cats to stay with us until the Sheriffs Office started letting people back into the area a week and a half after the fire). I have gone through some boxes and found some brand-new Barbie sized furniture that I will be using for my Monster High dolls :3 I plan to make a dorm for the girls, a cafe', and a small shopping mall. In the Lego sized stuff, I already have a beach house, pool party, shopping boutique, and shopping mall kiosk set up. kekeke. I can't help it, I'm such a girl when it comes to certain things. Don't get me wrong- I collect rare vinyl toys from Japan, too (stuff like Be@rbrick, Dunny, Teddy Scares, Gloomy Bear, misc one-offs done by Japanese toy artists, and a few artists from the US who do high-end vinyl figures), as well as some extremely well articulated action figures from Cy Girl and ZC Girl (same company, just under different management, I suppose). Oh, and I kept a few of my Living Dead Dolls. I HAD TO!! One of my first custom figures I ever made was a 12inch version of Sheena from Series 1 (I think) of Living Dead Dolls... way before they did the LDD Minis and LDD Fashion Victims. She came out quite nicely, I think. If you want to see a pic, just let me know and I'll link you to my PhotoBucket that has my doll pics on it ^_^

So, yeah, in 2010, we moved from Phoenix to Yarnell, AZ. People used to ask, "Where's Yarnell?". Well, now just about everyone knows where Yarnell is, sadly smilies/icon_crying.gif (If you don't know, please Google "Yarnell Fire"). Luckily, we had moved to another town about 40 miles away from Yarnell last July... but my in-laws still live there. We lived in the house right next door to them from July 2010 til July 2012. The house where we lived is nothing but white ash now smilies/icon_eek.gif Praise the good Lord, Jesus Christ, for keeping Mom & Dad's house completely safe. They suffered no damage to their property nor to their cats. Everyone ended up safe and sound (they have 8 kittehs, too smilies/icon_biggrin.gif )

Old info I had posted here regarding my kittehs: as of my last update to my profile, which was done in 2010, but some of the info is really old- this first part was done in 2007 or 2008, with a tiny bit of editing done by me just now:
I LOVE black cats!! {I had black triplets from 1999 until they started to go to Heaven starting in 2009} I had seven cats total (Sassy, Scooter & Bear are my triplet black cats age 8 ), Sierra (my silver 11 year old) and our newest children are Scratch Furry: Destroyer of World (or just Scratch), age 2.5 yrs, & our baby Punkin Pie (she had her 1st birthday in August smilies/icon_blaugh.gif). UPDATE: In 2008, we lost Freak, and in 2009, we lost Scooter (one of The Kittenz); adopted Pookie on Thanks Giving Day. We lost Sierra this year {2010}. (Oddly, all our losses, 3, were in June...2008, 2009, and 2010.) We just adopted a new black&white male a month ago (Sept 2010). His name. Bandit, and is from the same momma kitty as Pookie. They're both little Luv Bugs smilies/icon_heart.gif Smokey was adopted Nov 11, 2010.

This next part, I need to clean it up, but I'm just too tired. I keep nodding off. Bad sign.? *shrug* LOL
Our eldest cat, Freak, my b&w tuxedo step-cat smilies/icon_heart.gif was 12 years old- (he passed away this morning at 4am June 9, 2008. You will always be in my heart, Mr. Freakers <3).

I prayed to God for two more months with Freak after he was diagnosed as terminal, and God granted us that time. Freak died 2 months and 3 days after I said that prayer.

One year after losing Freak, I lost my favourite son, Scooter Pie.
He and his siblings (The Kittenz, the triplets) had just celebrated their 10th birthday the weekend before.
On Father's Day 2009, I lost my baby boy.

To make matters even worse, I cannot find all the photos I have of Scooter. I think they are all on my old computer, but I cannot find them. This is the only photo of Scooter I can find.
I will miss my baby forever.

These are my oldest babies- this is a REALLY old collage of photos.
All of these kittehs are in heaven now (this blue part is updated as of July 2013 cat_smilies/icon_sweatdrop.gif
OMG! FINALLY! Punkin' & Scratch Pics!! (Punkin' is the cat we had to re-home D': )
Punkin at 2 months old:

Miss Punkin' looking up to her big brother Scratch:

And, finally, here is Scratch Furry: Destroyer of Worlds! He's actually the most mellow cat in the house LOL

Kittehs whose pics I need to post include Pookie (female, born mid Fall 2008), Bandit (male, born early Fall 2010), Smokey (female, born late Fall 2010), and our 3 newest members of the family, collectively known as The Cookiez, born late September 2012 and brought in to our home just a few days after they were born. I raised them by hand from age about age 7days (their eyes were barely opening and they wobbled more than they walked >.<)... we rescued 4, but one was adopted out at a young age. We couldn't get the others adopted out because there was a kitten population explosion last year that was INSANE! The Cookiez are: Butters (male), Be'Be' (female, and I can't do accent marks over the "e"s in her name, but it's pronounced "Bay-Bay"), and Antigone (female, nicknamed Tigge with a long "e" at the end like "Tiggie"). They will be one year old in late September. We brought them inside on October 2, 2012.
I'll try to upload some pics soon-ish XD

SO, thems mah babies smilies/icon_heart.gif

Oh, & my husband-creature Eric (aka Munki) lives here, too. smilies/icon_razz.gif Kekekeke

Kat Tales

Kat Tales- a journey into the abyss called Kat's mind. What is a Kiddiss? Where did the name come from? Who is Kat IRL? Who is Kat when she's in CyberSpace? What's bugging Kat today? Has anything really cool happened in Kat's world lately? All these questions and more will eventually be answered in "Kat Tales"

This is going to be a lot of me "ranting & raving"... really just getting stuff off my chest that is bugging me. Most of my complaints will be about one of the following: my husband-creature (Eric aka Munki) or my disability (Fibromyalgia with a sid

Lulz... The naughty Pillsbury Dough-boy was on a t-shirt. I took that pic years ago. Don't recall an artist being mentioned.
