Psychological Profiling
Keythi is a shy, mostly-quiet woman of complex emotions hidden behind a steely, scarred, one-eyed expression. Calm yet powerful, her disposition leads many to find her intimidating, though despite her lack of being particularly verbose, she is still relatively friendly. Though some would describe her as dutiful and knightly, Keythi would describe herself as a sinner who shall live out the suffering that fate has deigned for her until she draws her final breath.
Things like friendships and family, however, are a difficult topic for the lioness. Growing up an orphan in a war-embargoed city has made her wary of others' cruelty and dishonesty, and she has been strong to safeguard her true feelings and may take some time to open up to others. Keythi exhibits traits of separation anxiety and a strong lack of trust in strangers, leading the lioness to be very cautious and borderline shy in certain environments. Very surprisingly, however, Keythi has shown exceptionally strong social understanding and has even flirtatious advances, given the motivation. If that motivation is personal interest or for the sake of her hidden missions isn't always clear.
She responds well to good manners and light-hearted humor--trying to be competitive with Keythi without a proper measure of respect for the lioness will sour her mood. The key thing about Keythi is that she trusts her gut instinct more than anything else, and if one leaves a bad first impression, they'll be in a difficult ditch to escape from.
Keythi is a very tough lioness, fond of fights and weapons. She commands a deal of respect from both her superiors and subordinates, and occasionally others can forget she's a woman at all when it comes to her stalwart domination of her forces. In fact, Keythi seems to wear armor and baggier clothing to hide her very feminine curves and figure in order to make her appear tougher and less attractive than she actually is, in order to "be one of the guys." As several recruits could tell you, she can bellow with the best of them when giving face to face drill instruction. If you've not earned your place or her respect, Keythi is the boss, not you.
Taking Keythi for granted and underestimating her abilities has shown to be both irritating to the lioness and dangerous to the provoker. Unless on a mission or preventing danger by means of preemptive strikes, Keythi will rarely attack first. However, when provoked she is ruthless and is to be considered armed and dangerous at all times--and has been known to have emergency weapons strapped to her body in concealed locations.
However, for every ounce of coldness on the outside, there is a tender, motherly female on the inside who is wholly capable of love and affection. Keythi will not turn a blind eye to those in need of aid, particularly children and adolescent youth. She seems to perhaps desire to be a mother herself someday, though is unlikely to say so.
Having lived a serious life since childhood, oftentimes Keythi doesn't quite know how to handle others in the more strange social situations. She's aware of this, and often prefers to quietly hang back and observe when she feels uncomfortable or out of place, gathering intelligence. Surprisingly, once she gets to know a person and feels mutual respect, she responds very well to lady-like treatment and gentlemanly approaches. Respect is the key to Keythi.
Preferred Combat Style
Keythi is a very swift and agile combatant, fond of using speed and stealth to her advantage, if not in full on-combat. She is very dexterious, most often seen dual wielding a bladed weapon in one hand. However, she prefers to be a jack-of-all-trades and fights with a very multi-role focus. Keythi prefers non-lethal takedowns, if applicable, and prays for unnecessarily wasted life. However, Keythi believes her soul to be tainted, as she has already taken lives in the past. The killing blow pains her, but if it must be done, so be it.
With her agility Keythi is a force of nature in single combat, using her speed and acrobatics to wall-run and bounce off of surfaces, making her difficult to track. Often aerial, she uses keen slashing spins and flipping kicks to keep her opponents on their toes--or else, keeled over on their backs. Her style is advanced and almost foreign compared to the sturdy training of common swordsmen.
Due to her kind's body being completely covered in flammable fur, she protects herself with flame-resistant armor. Spellcasting is a rare to see from Keythi, oftentimes to the point where some believe she's unable to cast magic at all (depending on the scenario, her magic may or may not exist to fit with the world lore). Magically or technically, Keythi is a smart combatant, utilizing what best suits the playing field. Generally speaking, she prefers to buff herself, or weaken her enemies, as opposed to all out offensive magics or techniques. Her tactics are ever-changing, always improving, brought on by powerful self-motivation.
In addition, her signature blade is bound to the lightning element, allowing her to use it both defensively as a lightning-rod, and offensively to add lethally shocking effects to her drenched enemies. She has even been observed using the blunt side of her blade as an electric stun-rod for subduing opponents non-lethally.
However, Keythi keeps her use of magic to a minimum as it naturally drains the mortal user of energy and can tire her out. Generally it is used only in extreme emergencies or against advanced technology, supernatural forces, or other magic-casters.
