My name's Kaylene, otherwise known as 'Kazzi' or 'The Pixie', a nickname I got from my friends at the university I study at. I am a 19 year old jazz vocal student studying at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. My passion is singing, and I've found a freedom in jazz which I just love.
I am called a pixie because I am short. My hair is also short and spikey and pixie-like. I like colourful and shiny things. I like to wear them. And collect them. I am a hoarder and any space I occupy quickly becomes cluttered. My family pets number one cat, one dog and six rats. I love them all dearly, with all their quirks and funny personalities. I couldn't survive without my animals.
I am more political then I tend to let on, and firmly believe in equal rights for all people, no matter your race, gender or sexual orientation. I am somewhat socially liberal, and I think freedom is the most important thing a person can have. I walk to the beat of my own drum, and woe betide anyone who tells me to do otherwise.
I believe in God, but I don't believe a word of the bible, or any holy book for that matter. That classifies me as a Deist. I live to enjoy this beautiful planet and everything on it, and try my best to make other people happy. I think if you do good to others that will eventually cycle back to you.
