Been a major fan of videogames since 1983, and of anime since 1984. My most favorite games of all time are Chrono Trigger, ALL the Legend of Zelda games, ALL the Wild Arms games (but especially the original & Alter Code F), Tales of Phantasia, ALL the Dragon Quest games, Disgaea, Devil May Cry, and Final Fantasy 8 (and I kinda like 7 & 9, too). My most favorite anime EVER is Naruto, and I'm also highly fond of Fullmetal Alchemist, Get Backers, Outlaw Star, Bleach, Slayers, Yu-Gi-Oh, Buso Renkin, Vampire Hunter D, Sorceror Hunters, Magic Knights Rayearth, Voltron, Final Fantasy: Unlimited, Dragon Ball, D. Gray-Man, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, DN Angel, Yu Yu Hakusho, Gatchaman (specificly the incarnation of it known as "Eagle Riders"), and TONS more... (frankly, I've come to love over 30 anime in my lifetime, and have watched nearly twice that amount since 1984)
My father has been a fan of anime since the 70s, which officially makes me a genuine "2nd Generation Otaku". He's also the reason that I came to fall in love with Japanese culture and cuisine.
I have a very awesome imagination, but sadly lack the skills to creatively express some of the wonders of my mind's eye (in other words, it's tricky and a bit frustrating to make fanfics or fan art). I've actually written two fanfics so far, though they're rather unpolished and drab (posted over at Fanfiction.net under the same SN that I use here on Gaia). I'm also into a bit of goth, and very fond of goth-ish clothes/accesories. Punk stuff is cool too, and I absolutely adore anything that looks like it's "Steam-Punk" (like the kind of things from the online webcomic called "Girl Genius", for example).
