I was born just outside the Swedish town of Uppsala on the 27th of October. My mother died when I was six years old, but I was brought up by my father. As a young child, we traveled to fairs where he would play the violin and I would sing. We were discovered at one of these fairs by Professor Valérius, who took us to Gothenburg and then to Paris, providing for my education.
I was extremely close to my father. when I was a child, he would tell me Scandinavian fairy-tales; a tale of the "Angel of Music" was my favorite. My father's death left me alone and quite disconsolate. I began to lose my love for singing but with the help of the Angel of Music, my secret tutor, I began to sing again.
I soon became an Opera chorus girl, and with the help of the mysterious and terrifying Phantom of the Opera, whom I knew as the Angel of Music, I am chosen to replace the Opera house prima donna, Carlotta.
My childhood friend, Raoul attended my performance and visited me after the show. Out of a jealous rage, the Phantom, kidnapped me taking me down to his secret lair under the Opera House. Upon my return to the world above I am reunited with Raoul, but at the terrible price of several lives as the Phantom tries to steal me away again.
I was confused and faced the awful decision between Raoul, my love, friend, and fiance, or Phantom, my teacher and "Angel of Music".
It seems as thoug, however, "Love Never Dies"...
