No, it doesn't. It's SO hard for me to find a mormon boy who can handle me...who is someone I want...who is INTERESTED in me. But it's more important to me to marry someone in the temple than to find someone I can't. I mean, it is our belief that a marriage sealed in the temple lasts beyond this earthly life, so to me it'd be kind of stupid not to do that, as this life is short compared to eternity. Aside from that, I wouldn't want the issues of trying to raise my children in an LDS home and have their father be of a different religious view, regardless of whether or not he did or didn't care what religion his kids were. And some other stuff.

No, it doesn't...
It doesn't forbid that I marry outside the covenant either, but I can't marry in a mormon temple if I do, and it's very important to me that I marry in one.
I myself can't handle long-distance relationships though, 'cuz I'm clingy and stuff and I need the guy to be here for me physically. I've tried doing long-distance relationships and they mostly end up in me getting hurt.

XD that really sucks. I'm sorry. I imagine you should have more luck in college, but I wouldn't know TOO well - it appears it's hard for freshmen to get dates too.
(then again, if you don't ACT like a freshman, you might be fine. I can't swear by this, though, since I still haven't been asked out a whole lot. T.T; I guess I'm just too much of a psychotic spaz for guys to want to date me 'cuz I've had plenty of people assure me my face is pretty.)
The whole workload is the main issue and if you stay on top of that you're golden. Oh - and you really have to make sure to keep your GPA up. You REALLY don't want that to suffer or it blows up your whole life forever. Something like that.

Comparing dating in high school and dating in college, I'd definitely say that dating in high school was a waste of time anyways. T.T I didn't get asked out that often myself (the one guy who liked me was a stuttering nerd who was really bad with social interaction. He liked me, surprise surprise, because I was a gamer), and any guys I wanted to ask out were slow or had a girlfriend. So I think I only went like five times before I went to college...XD sorry, I'm rambling.
The different part makes it a lot harder but it's also what makes it more fun. I mean, you start to become an adult and at first you're like, WOOO! And then you're like, oh, crap, the only difference between being a kid and being an adult is that now I have to pay bills. This sucks. And then you're like, I don't...think I'm actually an adult yet. And then you realize...being an adult just means being accountable for whatever it is you do. You can do whatever the heck you want no matter how childish or ridiculous or crazy, but you're going to be held accountable for it. Also, no one is going to guide your actions any more. If you're not sure what to do you can get advice but no one will guide you. Mostly though, it's just doing whatever. And aside from paying bills, being an adult rocks biggrin So - college is a lot like that. No one tells you what to do, they just give you an assignment of what needs to be done (and some will give you the assignment at the beginning of the year and never bring it up again except to say "turn ___ in today, watch out for that) and you do whatever.

Yes.
Well...It's very different AND harder...i mean it's not THAT much harder, it's like the difference between middle school and high school, but SO much more responsibility is thrust upon you and things are different enough that it makes the previously mentioned transition childish compared to the transition from high school to college. Then again, it's also every bit as fun as everyone says.
I would advise you to purchase a calendar, and tack it to the wall over your bed or wherever you'll see it every day. After the first week, when you get all your syllabi, go through each one and write EVERY assignment on the calendar for each class, maybe color-coding. I like to write the readings they expect you to have done, too. If you can stay on top of the reading (OH MERCY THE PILES OF READING!!!) and most of all your assignments, you'll be fine.
