About
Okay, so I'm not quite as "extrodinary" as the banner may lead you to believe. Anyway I'm an Electrical Engineer who graduated from the CU Denver campus in 2007 who currently works as an application engineer providing telephone application support for an electronic measurements company. In my off time I love reading manga, watching anime, playing shooters and Rock Band, integrating embedded systems (read as: making fancy blinky lights,) and photography.Gaia Online
I'm almost exclusively the cabin boy of the ED, Sci/Tech, and Computer forums, and as you should guess I like getting a bit more in depth on matters. This doesn't bug me, and the couple hundred pages worth of posts that I've made here on Gaia have all helped me improve my skills both as a typist as well as a speaker of the english language. It just hasn't helped my post count ^.^;
Congoing
I've been going to anime cons now for several years - basically since I saw Comic Party in '03 - and the parts I've found most interesting are cosplay and cosplay photography. So at a con you'll usually find me wandering around the halls in costume and bugging every person I can find for a photograph. XD
Cosplay
Over the years I've only made a few costumes but I've been Gateau, Choji, d**k Gumshoe, and Doc the Steampunk Archeologist (he's new to ALW '09.) I generally have big dreams when it comes to cosplay; but in practice what I usually end up with is more practical. As with every year though I plan to change this in upcoming cons and have blueprints and sketches for some really awesome stuff; if I ever get around to building it. XD
On the Web
The interwobs is a big place and I've got tendrils everywhere. Below is a quick list of the places you can find me:
Camera Ninjas: My main cosplay photo gallery
DeviantArt: My main art gallery for stuff I actually made
Jims Home for Nerds: My main website. I don't update this nearly as often as I should but project information usually gets archived here.
MySpace
On IM
I'm a whore to IM so I've ended up with accounts on a ton of services over the years. However, in practice I only use two, which I'm on basically all the time I can be.
