Okay, I’m just yankin` your laces, the name’s Sylvia. I’m nineteen years old and I live in sunny Southern California.
Art is my “thing”- I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember. I like to think that I can make a future out of that, and if not, well, at least I’ll have a fun time trying.
I’m a well-rounded, proud nerd- I like Comics, Manga, Anime, Star Trek, Supernatural, READING, LEARNING, and god forbid- OLD THINGS! (By the age of nine, I wanted to marry both Spock and Legolas.) My favorite mangaka has got to be Clamp, they are my heroes. My current anime loves are Bleach, Hetalia, and Kyou Kara Maoh. I like shonen manga the best. Batwoman is ten times cooler than Catwoman, and the ranking of the Robins is such: (1) d**k (2) Tim (3) Jason (4) Damien.
Otherwise, I’ll read pretty much ANYTHING. I read a lot, and I read fast. I need fuel to feed the fire that is my love for the written word. I take it in any form- fiction, non-fiction, heck, even fan fiction! If it’s got an understandable story line, good spelling and grammar, and isn’t total crap, I will read it. (Yes, this is my way of saying- send me links, please! Omnomnomnom. `Will art for good stories!)
When I say I like old things- I like old cars, old paintings, old songs, old art, old fashion, old jeans that are worn down just to the point where they’re soft, old socks that are furry and warm… You get my drift.
I’m secretly (or not so secretly) a huge coward who is easily frightened. Supernatural is my current favorite TV show; finally something that isn’t complete crap that I can actually watch on one of the five channels my TV gets!
I also play some video games, mostly Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy.
What else? I listen to all sorts of music- ranging from classical to rock to pop to Jrock to electronica. I like variety. Vocaloid is my current love, Gumi being my favorite. <3
