So, since you haven't bothered to respond to me I'll take it that you just don't care what about what I have to say.
I guess I should have figured my words wouldn't warrant much since I've been gone for so long. Bye.
Oh, and enjoy this irony.
Go to hell.

I offer you this gif for no reason. Maybe you'll get a kick out of it.

Tbh, I don't really know what happened to you.
I kind of wish I didn't come back, because I liked you better just the way I remembered you.
Really, you used to be so carefree and just so alive. You were definitely one of the good ones.
And sadly, but honestly, you let heartbreaks wreck your life. You didn't enlist to better yourself. You tell yourself that, but you did it to runaway from everything. You judge yourself on how successful you are, how much money you have, what education you have, what certifications you have, but not who you are as a person. You were such a great guy when I met you. You just started high school so you had s**t for an education, you didn't have a job or money, you didn't have certificates, but you had a great character. Humble, modest, and carefree. I'm not saying you got an ego, but you've buried yourself in false ideas of success and value. What you have now is less than what you had years ago. I'm not saying that because I'm jealous that I'm a broke college student, but as a person who came back to rekindle an old friendship.
Money isn't what any person with good intentions wants from you. It's that witty character, charisma, and energy that you have that you decided to bury because you think that it's what got you hurt. I'm proud of you for serving, and I guess I am being unfair when I say you joined just for selfish reasons, because I do remember you always being this patriot who wanted to serve, but don't lose yourself in it. ********, I mean, congratulations on your accomplishments. I couldn't do half the s**t you've accomplished. It's just you get heartbroken and instead of trying to REALLY better yourself and fix things you bury your problems. You bury your problems underneath education, scores, certs, money, whatever. You're enabling your own destructive behavior. If you woke up tomorrow and didn't have the Air Force, what would you have? Nothing. The people who want you for your money? Long gone. The people who cared about you as a person, and what you offered as a person? Gone too, because you decided to bury who you are as a person underneath things that don't mean as much at the end of the day. Yes, you're successful. Yes, I'm proud of you. Yes, you have things to show for it, but even with all the toys and awards in the world you're going to be alone. And I know you. Being alone is the last thing you want.
