Hello!My name is Yagami Raito, and I'm slightly psychotic.
I'm the smartest student in Japan, and in my spare time I enjoy killing people to obtain my goal: to become god.
Yes, this world is rotting away. People who go on happily with life just can't see it, they're too stupid. No one is as smart as me.
So, one day I was staring out into space like I always am. I mastered everything you're supposed to learn at my age when I was like, ten. School is utterly boring.
Well anyways, I was sitting in class when I saw this book fall from the sky. After a while, I figured out you could kill people when you write their names in it.
Death Note.
I used it, and I felt power overtake me.
That's when I realized.
I could use it to free the world from evil. All of the crimes and horrible people that plague the world with their presence...
They could be eliminated.
