"My paper is blank...?" you stare at the flimsy thing and then look at me.
I look at you confused and take it from you.
"It's me." a cold voice said.
We both turned to find a boy standing in the doorway.
"No..." I gasp.
"You promised me, Charlotte." he tilted his head slightly at me.
I looked at you with frantic eyes and whispered, "Run!"
You looked at me with confusion.
"I said run!" I yelled.
Everyone in the room was suddenly gone and all of the lights went out.
"I don't think so..." the boy said.
He grabbed you by the neck and forced you into my closet.
The door shut and locked behind him.
"No!" I screamed as I tried to open the door.
I pounded on it as hard as I could, but it wouldn't budge.
Within the closet, he stared at you with pitch black eyes.
His hand around your neck was as cold as ice.
You tried to speak, but you just couldn't.
"My name is Jareth. Your young friend out there, Charlotte, bless that girl, agreed to give me one of her friends for... sustainment."
he grinned such a satanic smile that you swore you could see fangs.
Just a trick of the light?
Wait... Where was that light coming from?
You noticed that the boy was so pale, he actually glowed a little bit in the darkness.
You fought against him, but he held firm.
"Hold still," he chuckled as he kissed your neck,
"This will only hurt a little bit..."
He released your neck, but grabbed onto your shoulders and kissed you neck softly.
It tickled at first, his cold kisses, but then he began to nibble on your flesh.
Chills ran down your spine.
You liked how it felt.
"Now, take a deep breath..."
you did as you were told,
"And scream!"
he burried his fangs into your neck and drew your blood from you.
You screamed as loud as you could, but you could still hear me shouting something on the other side of the door.
Suddenly, the door burst open.
I stood, my hands glowing a bright red, breathed heavily in the darkness.
He released you and let you drop to the floor.
"God damn you, Jareth." I growled.
"No literally" I growled.
He chuckled sadistically and sighed.
"We did have a deal." he nodded.
"It wasn't supposed to be her!" I shouted.
You lied on the floor, breathing heavily.
I reached a hand out to you and I took it.
"She's going to die." Jareth said coldly.
"Not if I can save her..."
"There's no saving her, unless you... Now, Charlotte. Are you really that desperate to save this girl?"
"I am." I said as I bit into my wrist.
I held it close to your mouth.
It wasn't until now that you noticed I had fangs, too.
A few drops of blood dripped onto your lips and you instantly lunged for the source.
You drank greedily from my arm, but I had to pull away after a while.
Transforming is a b***h, so I think I'll spare you the pain and skip it.
You sat up, staring at Jareth and me.
I scowled at him, but he wrapped his arm around my shoulder all the same
."You guys are..."
"Vampires." Jareth smiled.
"And I am..."
"A vampire..." I looked away from you.
Jareth kissed my cheek and grabbed my chin, pulling me to look at him.
"Come now, Charlotte. Now we have a daughter! Isn't that delightful?"
"She didn't choose it."
"It's okay." you said suddenly.
"What?" I asked.
"I don't mind. Now, are you two...?"
"She's my loving wife." Jareth grinned.
"Whose friends you like to eat." I spat out.
"You still love me though, right?"
I rolled my eyes."Are you okay?" I asked you.
"Yes... I think I'll be alright."And from then on, we roamed the night as creatures of shadows.
