Hello all!My name here is Lucielor (previously known as Ilaron), I've been on Gaia since May of 2005. I'm thirty two old, married, and a parent of two. I role-play! Yaoi and hetero pairings are okay in my book ~
I consider myself to be a literate writer and spell/grammar check about a billion times before posting. Sometimes I miss errors, though, because I am human. You can expect an average post from me to contain around 600 words (that's about 1 full page in an open office word document). This count will vary depending on character interaction, plot push/events, and time available. I'm usually able to get at least one post a week, sometimes more. For some, this may not be acceptable...but I have a life and a family, and that comes first. I prefer to role-play on the forum, but have done PM role-plays in the past and only with the understanding that I will not smut it up. When the mood gets sexual, the scene fades out...
I have experience with the following types of role-plays:
✔ Supernatural / Fantasy
✔ High school / University (fantasy or splice of life)
✔ Arranged Marriage
✔ Elementals
✔ Cafe / Apartment / City/Town / Nature / Other world settings
✔ Will participate in some 1 x 1 or small group role-plays. Larger groups sometimes get too overwhelming, so please be patient if you find me in one
✔ Role-plays that have romance, drama, and action included in the story/plot reap bonus points in my book.
I'm sure I'm missing stuff from that list, but it's a good place to start.
However, I do NOT like the following:
✘ Zombie survival
✘ Disney spin-offs
✘ 1 x 1 role-plays that include cybering
✘ ANY ROLE-PLAY THAT ALLOWS A PERSON TO TYPE ONE-LINE RESPONSES!! We've all been through school, there's no excuse besides laziness to not make the effort. Everyone can manage at least one paragraph.
The following role-plays are topics I have little to no experience with, but I'm interested and willing to try if you'll be patient with me:
✚ Master / Slave
✚ Sci-Fi / Experimental / Mutant
✚ Hospital / Asylum / Laboratory settings
✚ Dark Circus
✚ MMO
✚ Band
✚ Post apocalyptic unrelated to zombie invasions
As a general rule, I only join role-plays that use anime style or visually similar images. It's very rare that I join one that uses real or hyper realistic images; and it has to be out of desperation. [ for the record, I find using a person's real face to be utterly disturbing. That--and, as a human, I am too bias as to what I find attractive and what I do not. At least with anime, I can find pretty much any 'face claim' to be attractive. Sorry if you find that offensive ]
In terms of Yaoi role-plays, I typically play as a seme; though I will play an uke from time to time (or if I'm asked to...which is almost never, heh) I don't usually play seke positions, but I can if someone requests it.

No envy! I freaked out when I saw your post, it was so fluid and it made sense and for the amount of action you got to write about it wasn't boring which is crazy! and then everyone else posted and I ended up thinking "ho snaps what am I going to do"
And your signature is too relatable. That was me the entire car ride, except there were two car guests that are supposed to be teachers for the summer camp, one heavy set PE type of guy and a mother who will teach dance. So that gif was me but in a square space of 5 x 5 inches, silent and listening. For about 8 hours.
