About

Destiny is the oldest of the Endless, and is portrayed as a tall figure, obscured within a brown (originally purple) robe and cowl. He reads from a large book chained to his right wrist, which contains all past, present, and future events. He does not leave footprints, nor does he cast a shadow. Destiny's realm is a garden, the maze-like paths of which he walks continually. His book is his sigil in the galleries of the other Endless. Destiny is blind, although this doesn't appear to hinder him, he is always calm, detached and sombre even in extreme situations.

Powers
Personification of Destiny: One of the seven Endless, inconceivably powerful beings, Destiny is both lord and personification of all destiny and freedom, He had god-like powers and absolute power over his realm, a garden containing all possible destinies of present, past and future. Destiny has power over predetermined course of events as well as the absence of necessity and constraint in choice.
Nigh-Omniscience: Destiny was blind but could see the tiniest details throughout the cosmos and see the patterns living beings made on their paths through life

Shape-shifting Destiny could change his appearance and clothing.

Immortal: Destiny was ageless and virtually immortal.

Sorcery: Nigh-Omnipotent mastery of magic.
Abilities
Vast Knowledge: knows all there is of the past, present and future.
Weaknesses
Ancient Rules: Despite his great powers Destiny, like the rest of the Endless, was bound to a complex set of rules and customs.
One which requires him not to spill the blood of family or he is no longer protected as the personification of Destiny from other Personifications
Another is that he cannot fall in love with a mortal or the mortals downfall is assured.

A single road... Eliza thought, considering the possibility," Am I to find what leads to the decision only when that moment comes? What happens that leads to its necessity or do I already know?" She felt the need to know, though sneaking suspicion according to her meeting with others told her she may not yet find out what would occur. Destiny was, however, a curious thing.

Eliza nodded and came over, taking a seat," Thanks. Your siblings were kind. Death reminds me of a character from a show called NCIS. Gothic dress, but perky and to the point. Desire asked what I wanted. It's not a question I think I'll ever be able to have a complete answer to, but I said what I could." She tried one of the grapes, surprised at how good it was," Did you grow these? They're excellent. I have an orchard and vineyard, but produce never with this clear a taste..."
She glanced across the table, believing she might have caught a glimpse of his eyes.
"The only one I haven't met is Despair, " Liz added, though I've a feeling I'll meet them somewhere along the road. questions arose in her mind. If all of them were meeting her, something was very likely to happen. Just what, she looked for.
"It's interesting, isn't it? Of course, I don't know why entities seem drawn to me. Maybe, somewhere in my subconscious I do. I thought perhaps that answer would find me..."

In an instant, the world around Liz shifted. Her injuries working backwards to a point where she had done before finally stopping. She stood, not sore or stiff, finding herself not far from a long table. An Endless. That explained it. Another one of the siblings. Destiny...? He didn't give off an air of sadness. He had to have been Destiny. "You called," she asked with a smile. The girl had learned that in order to survive one must expect the unexpected. Perhaps the answer was finally coming to her.

I'm not tampering if it's already in your book, brother dear. Desire teased, blowing a mocking kiss at his/her eldest sibling. But now that you mention it, I do have a few things that need to be done. It's been good talking to you again, don't be a stranger! And with a burst of sweet-smelling smoke, it was gone.

A spark of memory seemed to slap him/her in the face. Oh, I'm an idiot. Of course you'd berate me, you probably don't know yet. Its eyes glittered with mischievous glee. I know Destruction isn't like Dream, eldest brother. I can't just throw any old girl at him and expect it to take. So, I found him the shield.

I'm not saying for procreation because, guh, look where that got Dream. Desire stared longingly at its pack of cigarettes for a moment, then looked into his/her brother's face. And before you say a word in contradiction, I have personally helped all our siblings who wanted my help. Despite his realm being full of mortals and his creations alike, Dream was pathetically lonely. Sometimes, I would send women to him, other times, he would find them on his own. Either way, his heart dabbled within my realm of being. Our sisters rarely want for companionship that they cannot find themselves, and you're like a gigantic stone statue in your own way, but our brother is lonely. He gave his only companion to our youngest sibling, and now he wanders in search of people he can talk to. I'm helping him.

Desire slouched into the opposite seat, throwing its pack of cigarettes back into his/her coat pocket. I'm not a dreamer like Delirium. I know he's never going to come back into the family. but still, his art s**t isn't going to occupy him forever, you know? And there is nothing better for occupying ones precious, precious everlasting time than the feel of a warm body beneath ones own. Even if he only gets a century's use out of her, that's a century less we can be worried about. We are what we're named, eldest brother. And the Prodigal is no exception.
