    Hello and welcome to my profile. As you can see, I'm ICESYS, but you may call me ICE or ICEY. My profile represents the softer, angelic side of me. Depending on the day you catch me, I am a sexy/provocative devil as that represents my altered ego, Chocolate ICE.

    The person behind this unique avatar is a real woman who has been a part of Gaia since I was a senior in college (2005). A classmate introduced me to this site during our computer database lecture.

    My passion lies in helping people in real life and in Gaia life. In real life, I am a Registered Nurse so I participate in helping people heal. In my Gaia life, I own an awesome charity, The Gaia Wish Foundation®, so I participate in helping people dream.     I was a quester too, so I do understand how hard it is to quest. In fact, you can read my own frustrations when I quested for the devil tail within my journal. But, I don't believe in begging and usually don't deal with people who obnoxiously beg. I also don't accept random friends requests, but that shouldn't stop you from saying hello to me. yeah one of the programs I use to manage my passwords somehow it got tampered with I don't know if someone was trying hack me but I'm not rich or anything crap they caused me a lot of problems

I had to change all of my passwords crap can't rely on anything anymore

it's alright don't worry about it 3nodding so far things are stable so I need to keep doing cause something is working lol

that sounds like a great department or unit to work in always more preferable than seeing peoples lives in danger and trying to save them but that's just my opinion sweatdrop

ah I see well you could always do both just first sell the item and use half for charity and half for the raffle and do them separately biggrin

Pleural Effusion (fluid retention in the lining of the lungs) was the main reason why I went to the hospital for the past 2 times. The first time I went to a nearby hospital the second time I went to different hospital because the rheumatologist that looks after me works there (second hospital is a lot bigger and better funded).

To put it basically i couldn't breathe my lungs almost collapsed. It was all caused by a long term disease that I have for 6 years its called Lupus. The lupus was affecting my kidneys which caused protein loss and a lot of protein is being lost it caused many other problems such as the fluid retention in the lining of my lungs. The doctors in the second hospital ran many tests on me just to confirm it was because lupus that caused the problem.

Anyways lots of things happened during my second stay at the hospital I witnessed many problems that existed in there and saw my roommate almost dying from complications of cancer and the end she was sent to ICU (intensive care unit) after that whatever happened to her was unknown.

However during this time I literally got detoxed by the hospital food and barely crave for junk food now and trying to exercise everyday and eating right so somehow I can get my condition under control... the doctor wanted me to change to a stronger medication but it can cause sterility I refused to take it so now i'm on a very high dose of sterioids and immune suppressants so far things are under control and i can breathe but it's still unstable i hope sooner or later things will be ok.

a lot better now everything is finally under control I couldn't believe the same problem occurred 2 times in just a few days... but after this incident I had to make a lot of changes to my life in order to keep myself healthy.

trust me I won't be seeing that doctor anymore I don't like him at all he isn't caring and I feel that isn't very good after that incident

the good thing is that I have my own rheumatologist he's a lot better compared to the doctor I encountered in the hospital

the main reason for going to the hospital was because i couldn't breathe but I have a long term illness that might have caused the whole problem which was why a rheumatologist came to see me

oh yeah one of the rheumatologist at the hospital that came to assess my condition poked my left knee cause he thought water was gonna come out but nothing ended up coming out other than blood that stupid doctor made me wonder if he was treating me like a guinea pig or research specimen

when nothing came out i got pissed and said to him "that was painful" he quickly apologized when I was said that

seriously that was unnecessary pain that I did not need endure it made me question if he knew what he was doing or not

i'm gonna start learning to refuse doctor requests from now on especially if i get suspicious of their intentions just cause they are doctors it does not mean they are right all the time

good nurses really make a big difference on the whole experience especially when it comes to patients biggrin heart

my left lung was totally filled up with fluid and i couldn't breathe so i had to get that extracted out they ended up doing that for 2 times it was quite painful even after they used anesthetic to freeze the area everytime after the whole extraction i ended up coughing so much i think that lasted throughout the day

after that they ended performing bronchoscopy to look at my lungs that wasn't fun either

and of course i got poked pretty much everyday with all sorts of needles one was a blood thinner and the others was regular blood testing gonk heart
