Oh, of course. I'm just a little sour because I actually already finished these once, and he sent me new tracks to change to and make revisions to and I just want it done. I really shouldn't have taken this job in the first place, but I needed the money. I've recommended the mastering engineer at the studio where I trained for this guy's future needs. He'll probably do a better job anyway.
I remember the first one! You've had that picture for a long time. It's so overexposed though. You can't even really see your face.
Not exactly. I do a lot of things with music, but mastering is just making songs commercial levels and sounding cohesive, attempting to repair bad tracks as well as you can, and formatting them for CD's or whatever other uses they're for. I regularly do that with the artist's whose music I engineer (which is fun and rewarding because good mixes), but mastering other people's recordings is more of a side job. A side job that is unfun and takes over my life. Lol
Oh, huh, how strange. It was also in the middle of the night, as it is now.
And no, I don't, honestly. I actually just tried your profile and looked to see if you had a signature or something. Haha
Yeah, I haven't been on much lately either. I just cam back a few days ago, really.
Eh, too much to summarize briefly. Working on another mastering project at the moment. I think this is the last time I'm going to master music I didn't engineer for a while. Every time I do this, it's so stressful and unfulfilling. I just want this off my plate so I can focus on my other work.
