A B O U T _ M E

Hey everyone, HereThereAreLions here, but you can call me Lions, Valor, or whatever you prefer honestly. Many of you may know me as a few old usernames. I've had a lot of them; Jaiden-Raux, Xyntos, Apocalyptic Distortion, The Chaotic Pretender, there's more but i can't really remember them. Anyways, If you don't already know, I'm fairly easy to get along with. Honestly, as long as we share some sort of interest and you're not completely idiotic, we cool.

As far as who I am IRL. I'm not sure i can just describe myself with words. I'm terrible at doing that. I suppose I can try though. First of I'm a Geek (as indicated by this Venn Diagram). The obsession half of this geekdom lay in several different areas; Gaming, technology, television, sci-fi/fantasy books, and lastly and most importantly music.

I'm a self pro-claimed gamer even though I only own three systems. Xbox 360, Nintendo Gamecube and my 3DS. I'm an avid fan of the Assassin's Creed, Halo, and Pokemon franchises as well as many of the MegaMan series (mainly Battle Network). If you're interested in playing some games with me, you can find most (if not all) of my info in the 'This Could Get a Bit Messy...' section of my profile.

As far as technology goes :: (FYI :: I have a thing of always using two colons when I use them.) I own a 64GB iPod touch, the LG Ally (Verizon), and a very shitty AcerAspireOne 732h. Come April (19th I believe) I'll be getting the 64GB iPhone 4S in white and ridding myself of this crappy Android-OS and my iPod. My Acer is currently running Ubuntu 10.04, which I am in love with so-far with very few complaints, the main one being that I can't get iTunes on it.

For television, I don't so much mean actual TV programming as much as I mean 'catching shows on Netflix'. Who cares though, right? It's the same thing! Anyways, I'm a Whovian, a Sherlockian, a Air-Gear-head, a LOST-addict, a Scrubs-fanatic, and I'm constantly finding more interesting stuff. If you've got any suggestions on shows to check out, leave a comment or shoot my a PM.

I also recently discovered I was into reading. So far, it's only been Sci-Fi and Fantasy stuff. I've read all the Harry Potter books. Currently, I'm indulging in the Hunger Games. I picked up my copy of the first book last week and I'm almost done. I'll probably read it once more before I go and see the movie adaptation.

LASTLY WE HAVE MUSIC! I listen to anything from Dubstep to Hard Rock to Alternative to Rap to Justin Bieber, yes- I said that I listen to Biebs. The only thing I will NOT listen to is country music. I hate it. I hate that damn twangy-a** yodelling. I hate it. Words cannot describe.
