Lady Kitsuhana, now The Empress, saw that the world was changing in favor of Humans, Humans who did not care for her kind, so she put her abilities to use to transplant her lands to it's own universe.

In this universe, the eight great clans, each representing descent from a different child of the Empress, have lived simple, peaceful lives.

Between the Empress and her eight living children, is the Greater Nine-Tails Council. The greater government of their universe. They live like gods in a cloud-palace well above the earth. Their ongoings are unknown to the "lesser beings" in their universe.
Though, Kitsueichi is often rumored to be wandering about under a false name. Kurokitsu is rumored to like visiting the Outer World. Kitsuyou is rumored to like drinking in company of her descendants. And, Kitsuko, the youngest, still but a child, is rumored to come down and play among the "lesser" children during her festival of play.
