The ancient fighting monks of the Shao-Lin temple became famous world wide for their unprecidented unarmed combat fighting style. Adapting a style of movement and attack mimiced from five animals found comonly in the location of the temple-tiger, crane, leopard, dragon, and snake-the monks would spend each day training their body to a physical level almost super human. Many Chineese boys would leave their home in their mid childhood to journy to the temple, where the older and more experienced monks would train with the younger monks compleatly in defience of the modern Chineese hierarchy. They are a peacefull people when they are allowed to be, but if pushed to battle they are quite impressive. Monks are amazingly dedicated to the study of martial arts in a way that streangthens the mind, body and soul all as one.
Monks and those similer to the monks are kind and gentle people, generally not prone to battle. To be similar to the monks of old is to be one that values life and disaproves of killing in any way, shape or form. If you are similar to a monk than you are probably a great friend to have and lover of animals.
