He can be a bit inconsistant at times, but after a rough loss he tends to do fantastic.

What a series!
Props to Detroit for a great one.
Everyone on both sides played extremely well and at any point in any game the series could have changed in the blink of an eye.
That's what made it so exciting.
I'm giving props to all the teams we played throughout the entire season, whether it be preseason, regular season, or postseason.
The Penguins faced a lot of adversery this year; Stanley Cup runner up curse; losing great players like Malone, Hossa, Laraque, Hall, Ruutu, etc; uninspired play from some of December and most of January and February; 5 game losing streak; 6 points out of the playoffs with 25 games left; coaching change; winning an away game to beat the Philadelphia Flyers; going down the first two games to the Capitals and beating them away in Game 7; all the stats of Carolina, be it Cam Ward has never lost this game, that game or those games...whenever Eric Staal scores the other team doesn't win, etc; Going down again two games to the Red Wings and then beating them at Joe Louis Arena in game 7 to win the Stanley Cup; the list goes on.
Again, what a year!
After 17 years we finally did it.
It's not "do it" for the rest of the year, it's "did it"
And we did.

It really hit me on Saturday though when I started watching all the Youtubes (mostly from CBC) and favoriting the best ones and commenting for the first time in forever.
Yet I still haven't gotten through most of them.
And all you Penguins fans have fun at the parade for me...because I'll be in school taking a math exam with my Malkin jersey on in 80 degree temperatures.
But I'll be doing it with a smile on my face.

I don't think I'm ever going to be able to put this season into words.
I just can't, it's too stellar, too amazing.
Of course I was gonna try for a party, but everyone I know in the immediate area are either Flyers fans or non-hockey fans who don't give a damn.
And I've been sicker than a dog since Thursday.
So a bunch of Pens fans around the world couldn't get an ounce of sleep while I was screaming my a** off for a good thirty minutes, running around the house like a maniac, before passing out.
But it was amazing.
