Let's be clear here, Gryff; I wasn't defending his actions and frankly I'm offended that you'd accuse me'a that. I don't condone him bein' the featherbrained jerk he's been bein'. However, he is my beastie, an' as such I can tell when he's not himself. The way he acted that got him dumped by Merabell, and the way he acted to Atomica, was not himself; and I think you know that. Somethin' more is goin' on in his bird-brain and he's not dealin' with it right.

Frankly I think the best cours'a action is to not scream at each other. Dashner's got some cleanin' up to do; best leave him to do it.

I ain't sayin' what he did wa'n't vile, and I'm certain after the way every monster has treated him since then that he gets that too.

All things considered, while Atomica's efforts to to defend Merabell's honor were noble, he saw it as an attack. He's hurtin' right now, and 'pparently his defense is to hurt back.

Let him be to allow all of this to sink into his bird brain.
