I come from an extremely liberal society with a firm grounding in science and technology. I am an atheist, a goth, an intellectual, a nerd, a dork, a Democrat, a mother, and a dozen other things. I believe that what you do with your life and your body is your own personal choice. I believe in freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from oppression, and the freedom to ******** up. I do not believe that the bogeyman is out to get me, whether it be in the internet, the spiritual realms, or the government. The real
enemies are always plain to see.
I am moody, irritable, quick to anger and quick to forgive. I have an extremely low tolerance for bullshit, and I can't spell worth crap. After two months of lovely, planned pregnancy, I have a renewed appreciation for the importance of the rights of bodily autonomy--that is, the right to an abortion.
Life is too short to waste trying to force other people to do what you want them to do, to impose your views on them, to kill them, or just bullshitting around. Carpe diem. Have fun, enjoy yourself, and just worry about making the best of the life you've got rather than trying to tear down anyone else's.
Despite this, I like to give advice, because somewhere along the way (mostly through talking with my friends,) I got the notion that I'm vaguely competent at life, or at least competent enough to help others with their problems.
