I'm a wife, mother, teacher, amateur poet, loyal Catholic, G.K. Chesterton addict, and Sailor Moon fan!

I like to draw bishojou anime but don't have a lot of time for it these days.

I have an MA in Arthurian Literature, so ask me about King Arthur.

I read Anglo-Saxon and Icelandic chronicles and sags for fun.

This is probably why I have an inexplicable fascination with Scandinavia, even though I've never been there.

I love to travel: I've lived in Wales and Italy and visited Switzerland, Athens, England, Ireland, Ecuador, and the Galapagos Islands.

Reverence for Tolkien-lore is inherited in my family.

The Lord of the Rings is my absolute favorite book, though I've only read it straight through once.

Wales is close to my heart because it is close to my husband's, and I hope to learn more Welsh so that I can speak it with my son.

I believe Shakespeare is the best writer of the western world and not just because everyone says so.

Hamlet is the best play ever written.

Green is my favorite color.

I'm naturally curly.

Oh, and I'm a baby Whovian.

I'm not a linguist but I do very much enjoy languages. Just a pointer towards a trustworthy source, maybe? Middle English would be cool too. ^_^ It helps that so much of it sounds familiar to begin with!
