About
The Basics
I am in my early twenties, and I'm English to the point of almost being stereotypical - I love tea, afternoon tea is delicious and I enjoy crumpets like there is no tomorrow. I am something of a Royalist. I am currently unemployed, but I want to go down two paths; one vocational, one academic. At least then if I am not employed in one, then I have the other. Thus I am currently looking into getting experience and training in the catering and hospitality side of things.
The Details
I have been a practising pagan for the better part of ten years, although it is only within the last three that I have found my path. I practise religio romana, that is to say, the religion of the Ancient Romans. I predominantly worship Juno, Aesculapius and Venus, although I do also occasionally bring Ishtar into the pantheon as was a Roman habit to do. I have been interested in BDSM for a similar amount of time. Being a BDSM-positive feminist does not mean, however, that I am all for dominating men. Each to their own of course, some are, but I do not have a truly dominant bone in my body. Contrary to assumed belief, I am an owned submissive - my boyfriend is my master. BDSM is, after all, consensual and rooted squarely around that concept, and that is what feminism advocates for - consent! I am not lessening my interest in the equality of the sexes through raising woman up where they are disadvantaged worldwide, and I am not interested in the man-hating 'get under my heel' attitude of some women either. Neither sex is superior to the other.
I am a shameless bibliophile with a habit of buying more books than she can store at any one time. My most recent haul included a two signed Robert Jordan books that I am eagerly looking forward to reading. I am a casual gamer; mostly on my laptop, but I also have a (gulp) Playstation 1 - hello, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro!
