GerardisMine: my Gaia life
I joined Gaia in 2006. I was in my math one day (we had computers in our desks, seriously, the teacher couldn't see if we were on the internet or not), in the 7th grade, and my friend Natalia (I'm not great friends with her anymore but whatever) was on this site! I took a glance at it and was fascinated. I asked her, "what is this????" She said it was Gaia. She poked me in my rib until I got my own account on 'Gaia' and my first account was "GerardlovesBubby4977". Gerard was Gerard Way (yes I loved Gerard in the 7th grade) and Bubby was my nickname at the time, and 4977 is Gerard's birthday. I first got the peasant clothes. I abandoned Gaia for 6 months.

One day, over the summer vacation, I thought to myself "I wonder how my Gaia's doing?" I was on my account, and was meeting tons of people, and got my friend from Quizilla to join! The whole summer, I was on Gaia CONSTANTLY from my uncles' house for I did not have a computer. When I entered the 8th grade, my mom bought a computer and every night I was on Gaia till the wee hours of midnight. x]

In the middle of my 8th grade year, I got myself a new account, titled GerardisMine. Also, I met xxFancyKid. She coded layouts. I was amazed but it and she made me a layout for free. We started talking and became wonderfully good friends. After a while, I was annoyed at her making all of these layouts. I wanted to learn how to make them. She told me she couldn't explain EVERYTHING, because it's very confusing to explain, but she told me the basics:

When the code says 'top', the lower the number, the higher up it goes. When it says 'left', the lower the number, the more to the left it goes. When it says 'height' or 'width', the higher the number, the taller or wider the box is going to be. I kept this in the back of my mind, went to MS Paint, and made my first layout all by myself.

After that, I started messing around with codes and trying everything, and going online to see different codes for different cursors and borders and such. I started to get the hang of it...and personally, I got better than xxFancyKid, by only using MS Paint, PhotoStudio 5.5, Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006 Editor, and GIMP. It sounds like a lot, but it's not at all.

I started making layouts and discovered the Profile Discussion. Also known as PD. I asked for ratings, and rated back. Took advice, and got better.

Then, the 9th grade came. I am in the 9th grade now. I started going on PD more and more and more and more and getting my name out there a bit. I started to get known as the "tough critic".

So far, it looks like (I'm 99.9% positive), that my layout, "Paul McCartney" is going to make it to TekTek. It's #2 on the Upcoming Profiles.

Well, what's there to say? I'm 14 and live on the East Coast of the United States. smilies/icon_xd.gif I was born on August 11th in Brooklyn, NY. I am actually quite proud of that. But I moved to ________ shortly after.

For the first 2 schools I've been to (1st-6th grade), I was picked on. But then in the 7th grade I found myself and gained friends and <i>semi</i> popularity. Many people know me as the Gerard lover, My Chemical Romance lover, The Beatles lover, and the John Lennon lover, although my favorite Beatle is George Harrison.

In 2005, I lost my best friend, and no one has come close to how special she was to me. She was my sister.

But I don't want to talk about that because it makes me depressed smilies/icon_sweatdrop.gif.

I am many things. I've been called a mutt before. I am 1/4 Native American, 1/4 Polynesian, 1/8 Italian, 1/16 Scottish, 1/16 Irish, 1/8 Armenian, 1/8 Czech, and I don't know how much but I'm part French too. So technically I have 2 races in me. x]

I am a MySpace addict. I know, laugh all you want. I stay there thinking "WHOZ ON WHOZ ON" when no one's on and it's 2 in the morning.

My life isn't very interesting, considering my mom is the most overprotective thing in the world. She doesn't let me do anything. D: I do not look like her. :'| But she's cool a good mom. smilies/icon_xd.gif Though, I have done things she doesn't know about, like put tons and tons of pictures of myself on my MySpace. She also doesn't know that when I used to go over Natalia's house, we'd walk around her neighborhood at night and walk to her friends' houses. She doesn't know too much and she claims that I "surprise" her a lot with my views and reactions. I'm glad about that, I love surprising people with how I act and such.

My personality is an interesting one. I'm usually happy, BUT, when I'm sad, I'm sad. And I vent. And I blow off on other people. I also LOVE to kid around. When I kid around with my guy friends, they usually think I'm flirting with them. I have flirted many times without even knowing it. D: I gotz 2 stap dat. x] I am very loyal, and when I like someone, I get obsessive. Not only with Gerard. I also like to help others and sort out their problems and give them advice. 90% of the time, my advice works. :] Sometimes, though, I tend to be a bit of a bragger. I hate that about myself. I also have very low self-esteem. I absolutely HATE when people criticize me because of the way I think. And when I'm mad at you, oh boy you'll know, it'll be very suddle, but you'll know. I am also very literate and if you spell something wrong, I'll jump down your throat to tell you you spelled a word wrong. smilies/icon_xd.gif

I am very unique. I am a Catholic Republican, yet I believe in Gay marriage (the only thing I agree with the Democrats on), I DESPISE ABORTION, and I am a vegetarian. Don't like it? Get used to it. Aussi, just because I'm a Republican, DOES NOT MEAN I LOVE BUSH KTHNX&BAI. I do not like Bush, BUT, I do not think he is evil nor do I want him to die. That's going too far. But I stress, I am not a Bush lover. This war sucks. But that's a different story.
