Vesemir, I guess, was just doing his best to keep his charges alive and give them advice if/when they needed it and give them a place to winter. I think maybe a lot of the other Witchers internalized their bitterness, whereas Lambert wears it on his sleeve. I told my husband that all I want for Christmas now is an IRL Gwent deck. I want to, like... start family drama at the dinner table because I'm mad at losing. xd

I was kinda put off by Lambert at first, but after getting to know the why of his horrible attitude and outlook, I kinda like him. I can appreciate him. And he's husband's favorite character, too, so... Now I get to lay into him with cutting remarks and blame it on being in character for once.

I use Paint Tool Sai, v1 since I know there's a version 2 out, but never tried it myself. I don't use photoshop but seriously wish I could. I downloaded PS once, but my laptop is way too slow for it I guess? Photoshop lags really bad for me, to the point where I can't even use it so yeah. I would like to save up one day when I can do so freely and get a better laptop, that way I can touch up my works in PS like so many other artists do. It looks nifty and gives such beautiful effects.

Large areas can definitely be intimidating, rather skin or fabric. But sometimes it's okay to leave empty areas with not much touching, because you don't want to over-do it either, know what I mean? Some times I feel like my pieces can be TOO busy, have TOO much detail or too much going on and it takes away from the piece entirely, so finding a balance can be difficult. emotion_sweatdrop
