So this is my attempt to get back into Gaia. I've been AWOL for a couple of years now, only peeking at Gaia out of curiosity, becoming disappointed with the lack of activity to hold my attention, and then coming back a year later to try again. I'm hoping to be able to get back into it, as I've missed it, and the community, and my friends. We'll see how my time allows for it though.
Anyway, some information about me. I'm 25, and though I used to work in mental health, and would like to try to get back into it, I'm currently a director for before and after school care. I have a degree in psychology, but as you can see, I'm not really utilizing it the best I could. I'm interested in reading and writing, though I do far less of the latter than I would like to -- every year I try to kick myself into motivation for NaNoWriMo, but I've yet to win. I enjoy a really decent role-play, with good and imaginative writers and interesting characters and plots, and don't usually shy away from in-depth discussions on hot- button topics (though I probably should, as the "someone is wrong on the internet" thing tends to stress me out far more than it should). Also, I'm a feminist. I'm thinking of turning my women's health guild into a feminism guild, but we'll see how that goes. I just need more places to rant about the injustices of normal society against women, or something.
So that's me, in a nutshell. If you wanna know more about me, or just wanna say hi, feel free to leave a comment or send me a PM.
It's a new evolving item called the Imaginary Friend. I think it's the first stage, but you might want to check before you buy it from the MP. It's about 300k.
I gazed awhile
On her cold smile;
Too cold—too cold for me—
There passed, as a shroud,
A fleecy cloud,
And I turned away to thee,
Proud Evening Star,
In thy glory afar
And dearer thy beam shall be;
For joy to my heart
Is the proud part
Thou bearest in Heaven at night,
And more I admire
Thy distant fire,
Than that colder, lowly light.
Ahhh, I hear ya!
I'm working three jobs right now, it's insane! And full time college on top of that. x.x
Luckily, two of my jobs are laid back and at the college, so I can computerize and homework-ize all I need to.
Wow, you double majored, huh?
I definitely thought about that, but just can't do it right now.
And plus, the two degrees I want aren't offered at the same college anyway, so I'll have to go separately.
Dunno why I can't post to some threads...
the one about Mary being a Virgin...your
coworker if not a believer, will find things
she find 'unbelievable' There is a guy he
calls stories in the Bible fairy tales...
I Cor 15:1.Now, brothers, I must remind
you of the Good News which I proclaimed to you,
and which you received, and on which you have
taken your stand,
2.and by which you are being saved - provided
you keep holding fast to the message I proclaimed
to you. For if you don't, your trust (faith) will
have been in vain.
My email was cancelled like 2 years ago, or three, but I still loged on perfectly. After some time earlier, they discovered that my account didn't exist anymore and I couln't change to another email. Consequently, my avi got banned. Really awful, but thank God I saved everything, thats why HE was dressed that way
