I cannot seem to find the book at any library near me, so I have yet to read it.

I have actually never heard of it. XD I guess it is off to Google for me!

I found his voice to be a bit... fake. It sounded hollow and did not come from within; is seemed as though he sung just because he was told to. He was actually chosen because Antonio Banderas could not make the filming of the movie.

I have actually never seen them perform on stage. I know a full length release has been wanted, but it is still sitting in a vault somewhere after all of this time.

I do know the one you are talking about. Mine has a really odd cover that has next to nothing to do with the story. I want it in the original French just so I can attempt to force fed my brain into learning the language.

Michael Crawford hands down. Gerard Butler made me cry. emo He has a horrible voice and handsome does not a Phantom/Erik make. D: Webber should have made the face more corpse-like and yellowish; it is not hard to do with theatrical makeup and prosthetic, but Webber will always be an a**, so I cannot say much else.

I was introduced through seeing it on Broadway. My father bought the original soundtrack there, and upon hearing it I fell in love with Sarah Brightman immediately. Right now, I am more into the original novel, though, I do enjoy listening to the major pieces of the Opera.
