Thanks, haha. Yeah most of the guys in Ghibli films are just..Well they're nice guys. Helpful. Hot (shhh). Um..I really liked Ashitaka though. He took a bazooka to the stomach and survived LOL How badass is that. All dat blood.
I liked Pazu from Laputa though. He was a cutie. Plays the trumpet. Can summon birds.
Tombo from Kiki's was one of the most different Ghibli characters, I think. At least, looks-wise XD
Can't say much about Whisper of the Heart cause I don't reeeally remember the guy..Just know he was nice I guess, played the violin..Was a hottie.
I've noticed that all of the girls end up looking the same XD I've no problem with that, though. They're all such strong characters - 3-

I thought the main character looked like the dad from Totoro XD OR a young Miyazaki now that I think of it..
I can speak Japanese so..Subs (or the original) will work for me..I rather dislike dubs XD I wonder how Kaguya Hime will be..You know the story, right? It shouldn't be TOO bad..No one dies, at least..I think it might be in the style of My Neighbor Yamadas but not too sure..
I'm apprehensive about sequels as well..But I wouldn't say no to sequels from Miyazaki..Although not really needed, I would LOVE a sequel for Princess Mononoke ; ^; But I feel like any sequel that could ever come out from there will just be cliche' and done before. I mean, the MAIN storyline of Princess Mononoke, as much as I hate to admit it, has been done before, many times (a man venturing off to visit 'natives', befriends/falls in love with 'natives'..helps natives out against his own kind...Pretty much that but he did try to stay neutral).
Well my favorite HAS to be Princess Mononoke ; ^; I grew up with that, and oh man. I used to run around in the jungle pretending I AM San XD And pretend my dog and cats were my wolf siblings. I love..everything about that movie. Heck, I can write down the script ._.
Second would have to be Nausicaa. I love how she is very gentle but when push comes to shove, she can kick a**. I just love everything..And how emersive that movie is as well..From clothing styles, story, and music. Wish Miyazaki made more movies like this :< This was his first movie, right? Or well..First movie after creating Ghibli Studios. I actually want to read the manga for this that he made before the movie...
Third favorite is kind of obscure..It might be Laputa (Flying Castle?) because everything about that movie was just perfect. I loved the humor so much XD Them pirates. Reminds me of the ones in Porco Rosso, which I loved as well.
