Hello!
My name is Felidae, but my friends call me Filly. My username refers to the scientific name for cats, not that strange German animated movie, so you can skip asking, I've heard it before.

Some simple facts: I'm an 'o4 oldbie, and have loved Gaia since it was 'Go-Gaia' and consisted of the Forums and Barton Boutique. My absolute fave place to hang out is in the WordGames forums. My bffer on Gaia is Metalxi- watch for Metal and me's matched avs, we enjoy ourselves.

I am literate, and I spent five years as a librarian.
So... Bad grammar drives me bonkers.
Even if you are new. >:Y

Some things I like:
Star Wars- Boba's the man.
Cats- fave animal since I was old enough not to get scratched.
Chai lattes- the first step to beating your addiction is admitting you have one.
Comics- and I'm talking comics, not manga.
Movies- I'm a huge movie fan, especially of those movies made about comics. Totally a sucker for action flicks- so the Die Hards, Jurassic Park, Fight Club, Boondock Saints, Basterds, Pulp Fiction, Independence Day, Alien, Machete, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Rock'n'Rolla- get the idea? If s**t gets blown up, I'm there.
High places- usually so I can jump off them (in harness, of course.) Ever jumped off a telephone pole? It's fun. Rock climbing is my favorite form of exercise.
Art- I have just completed a degree in Art Education with an emphasis in ceramics and metalworking, and am student teaching.
Old music- Basically, my music tastes are probably closer to your parent's music tastes (Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra, Ella, that sort of thing). 8P

Some things I don't like:
Zombies- yeaaaah, so I'm pretty much terrified of zombies. Seriously.
[******** avs-[/u] I'm such a stickler for matched and balanced avs, it bothers me when items are used just for the sake of using them! But hey, we all have our av preferences.
Really hot weather- yeah that's right- I actually like snow.
