I see you on the darkest nights, your second skin burning brightly. Can I stay here a while with you? Am I the last bastion and voice of reason? This is not a lie, this is the war we fight night and day. We will live, breathe, and battle until we all fade away! And we held promise and each other close, until the time came when we all slipped away. For there was balance, once, and we cried to the skies above.I wish I knew my past. I wish I knew my name.
For the life of me, I don't know why I'm made to live as a bright light.
I think this is my truth, I know it's worth living for.
The pinnacle of a stability I've never entirely embraced with a path I wish I knew.
For I am not an angel, I am but a naive soul.
I love my friends, and think I am beloved.
But the shadows of doubt can pervade the deepest corners of the mind.
Thus, why the sunshine and light must come to provide the yin to shadow's yang.
