"So you want to know about me, hm?" 'Faikitty' smiles felinely, although her awkward fidgeting in her chair cannot be ignored. She sits in a chair in the little sitting area in the corner of her room at the palace of Seresu. "Well, for starters, my name isn't Faikitty; it's Alicia R. Flowright. The nickname Faikitty was... a tribute to my brother... Yes, I suppose that's the best way to phrase it..."Her aquamarine eyes focus hazily on her cup of tea as she musingly trails her finger around the rim a few times. She opens her mouth to speak again, "You see, my brother is Fai. We've always been very close... actually, we're twins so perhaps it's genetic..." She laughs a little at this last thought, though her eyes still seem a little sad. She twists a finger in her shoulder-length wavy brown hair as a nervous habit as she looks out onto the balcony to her left. "Oh... it's snowing again... Not that that's anything out of the ordinary here in Seresu," she sips her tea, obviously thinking back to some distant memory as she sets down the cup again. "My brother and I... we were raised here in the palace together... We began training at a very young age for the title of royal mage... We pushed ourselves so hard... trying to prove ourselves worthy... perhaps my brother pushed a little too hard..." There is a long pause as she stares off into the distant scenery behind the frosted glass balcony doors. "Either way, he was chosen over me and, to be honest, I was relieved to hear it. I only worked for the title because I was afraid of being separated from my brother. I figured that if I proved that my magic was nearly as strong as his, they would keep me here with him as another, lesser royal mage. I assumed correctly but little good that did me... I couldn't help my brother through all the torment he faced and now he's gone... gone away... He decided he couldn't take it anymore, so he ran off to see the Far East Witch. He's on a journey now with a young princess, the young man sworn to protect her, and a grumpy ninja he calls 'Kuro-pi'..." She smiles again, for real this time. "I couldn't be happier for him. He's escaped the suffocating effect this world has had on him for as long as I can remember, he's breaking through the painful memories of the past, he's starting to heal, and - honestly - I think he's found love too." She giggles softly, her smile turning catlike as she adds, "And I'm sure Kuro-pi loves him too."
"As for me..." she starts back on the initial subject as she crosses her legs, "I'll never leave this land - at least not until my brother settles down in a single dimension, anyway. Maybe when he stops traveling I'll go and join him in the world he settles down in but for now I intend to stay here. There aren't many people around anymore... not after the incident... It's pretty much just me and my husband and the creatures that Fai and I made. His creation is a sweet obedient young girl named Chi and my son is a kind yet rough energetic young man. Yes, I call him my son... I suppose it's a bit silly but I love him so dearly. Anyway, his name is Ketsurui and he has a thing for getting himself into trouble... and then getting poor 'Momma' to get him out of it. Of course, if his trouble is me, then he has to get his help from Ichiro-chan." She grins as she continues, "Ichiro is my husband's name. He used to be one of the top scientists in all of Seresu... but now that it's just the four of us that doesn't seem like much anymore. Anyway, Ichiro-chan prefers to be called Icchan and he's a very strange but very kind person. He has his own way of doing things... but he still works hard to try and please everybody..."
She stands up and stretches her arms out as far as she can and then holds out her hand for a handshake. "And that's about all there is to know. I hope I've answered any questions you had. Goodbye."
You take her hand in an amiable hearty handshake and head off on your way again... out to face your own adventures...
