Frozen crystals glittering
Children giving silent pleas
Mittens, coats resisting
A moment there, a moment gone
A life extinguished in an instant
Melting swiftly on the tongue
Snowflake nonexistent
If only we thought to take
A single moment thoughtful
Realizing life's fragile make
Then every day'd be joyful.

Fae prefers to view herself as a realist. Not a pessimist, not an optimist. Life is life, and it consists of good and bad things. If you only notice one or the other, your life is imbalanced. You need to appreciate everything you get, positive and negative. Bad things make you stronger, and make you appreciate the good things you get. That's how life should be.

Honestly, I think your line art is already plenty good for it, you just need to hone your coloring a bit. It's amazing how much of a difference in price that will make.
