Acrylic can be quite expensive too here. But mostly it's the sculpture materials, I spend a ton on that.
In France there's no undergraduate course is more of a bachelors degree course, and it"s 3 years and then 1-2 years for each master. Oh then I guess it's pretty much the same here, there's some research masters where you need to write a thesis at the end of the first year. I'm definiteyl not doing one of those because I'm terrible at writing in french!
That sounds like your course is more interesting now than it was some years ago, I mean even if it seems more abstract maybe it's less because it applies more to the current state of economy??
I don't know if to be a thearapist it's necessary, there's a master degree of two years to become one, which might have a few psychology classes. I haven't yet really looked much up on it D:
Hahahhha is there much more to illustration? xD That's pretty much why I like it.

Yeah it does show if you use cheap materials, specially in sculpture which we have a lot of. We also have a class were we can choose what we want our medium to be and for photography, paintings & drawings the teachers like them to be framed, so that's quite costly. I think it really is almost the same expenses in all countries but maybe here materials are a bit more expensive, I don't live in a big town so the isn't much competition, there are only 2 art stores.
That sounds insane, I thought economics wouldn't be an abstract thing to study at all. Do you like studying it? And thesis after third year? yikes! In France you have to write a thesis after 5 years minimum!
I'd like to either be an illustrator or an art teacher/therapist at prisons & hospitals.

Hah, yeah definitely. And TV doesn't help me either. But I've found if I work quickly and set myself a 'delivery' day it tends to work well. But I mostly just do that for uni work.
Economics, cool! Do you know what you want to do after college?
Yes, I'm in art school, it's something really fun to study, but the amount of money you have to put into it isn't. I tend to spend at least 100$ a month on supplies!
And I'm in 2nd year : ) How about you?

Hah, that's cool, I don't really get creative waves, I tend to just not finish them really. I did finish though a few months ago a painting I had done 4 years ago... that was a first.

No, I didn't, I tend to never finish my paintings, that's why I haven't posted any other ones, because I'm waiting to post them when I finish them.
