[ About The Teaser King. ]
I'm EXO's dance machine, Kai! (카이) Birth name being Kim Jongin. (김종인 // 金鐘仁) But I'm fine with you calling me by Kai since that is my stage name that i go by. Though i do have few nicknames such as Kkam-Jong, This nickname is speical as much as it's embarrassing. It was given by the other members of EXO, They gave it to me because of my dark tanned skin and added 'Jong' to the end of it because my birth name is Jongin. lol ^_____^!! My other nickname is The Teaser King, Given by all the international fans!!!!~ So it is also special.
I was born in 1994 on the 14th of January. Therefore i guess it's a special and fun day for me even though it means I'm getting old each year... ^_____^;; For if you're curious my blood type is 'A'. Favourite colour is Red, black and sky-blue. Ideal type is HanYeseul <3 ^////^;;
My favourite movie is Billy Elliot. It's about a young boy whom has the passion for dancing and dreams to become a professional ballet dancer. (basic plot.)
The day I found out I wanted to become a singer / dancer was in 3rd grade. Actually at that time i was learning how to dance Ballet and Jazz and to me that was all i needed~ I loved to dance! I would learn as many routines as I could because that's how much I loved it. Until one day I saw Shinhwa seniors dancing on TV so I was eager to know what kind of style it was and then I asked my dad when watching it, “What kind of dance is that?” He replied to me in saying, “That’s a dance that singers dance.” I told him, “I want to learn that dance.” My dad encouraged me to do so if it was something I wanted to do and since then, I prepared for 2 years for auditions and I passed. That was when I was in 6th grade and the company thought I was too young so they told me, “Come back in 2 years if you still want to be a singer.” So I entered SM in my 2nd year of middle school which was in 2007. n_____n
I was a trainee for 5 years. Because my specialty is dancing and I had perfected Jazz and Ballet I was told I was a natural dancer, because of this I wanted to try something different from the usual type of art in my skills. So i learnt how to do popping, locking and hiphop.At first it was extremely awkward to be doing such a different type of dance style but in the end it felt amazing but at the same time I was shocked at myself that I could actually learn a different type of dance. As for knowing many different types of dance and being unique as I've been told. SM.E have said that even before I was accepted into being a traniee they had a feeling I'd come back in 2 years (which of course i did.) They named me as being their special weapon.
EXO were meant to have debut in 2010 with a different name, But it got delayed because of personal reasons. We had to actually wait another year before starting a career in what each of us loved doing best. Though it nearly took us a year before we debut!!! We had 23 teasers. I was featured in most of them, 12 to be in fact. 1. My lady. 2. Time control with EXO-M's Luhan. 3. My lady full cut. 4. Machine 5. Lightsaber 6. Run and Gun with EXO-K's Sehun. 7. Let Out The Beast with EXO-M's Xiumin. 8. Two Moon's with EXO-M's Lay. 9. What Is Love 10. Emergency 11. Baby Don't Cry 12. Angel ft all EXO memebers.
Since i was in that many teasers!! As i said above I got the special nickname from fans, The Teaser King. <3.
My role model is Micheal Jackson, I was actually happy to have done a teaser with dance style like his. 'Emergency'. Micheal Jackson is my role model because i love his hand movements or gazes, Michael Jackson managed to make a crowd go wild and move the audience. I want to be like this too.
Since I am the member in charge or dancing. I move my body around alot! and I do get hurt alot.. there's also person reasons to that too! But anyway, when I was asked about how I felt after getting hurt at the showcase last March, I was happy to know that the fans really care alot about me! So I told them that i felt really good and that I am really thankful and happy to see the fans care and ask if I’m hurt.
MAMA was EXO-K and EXO-M's debut music video~!! It has alot of meaning to it. It's something that we want to show all of our talent with and our next will be the same but with even more passion! We’re not just reciting the lyrics, the role of a singer is to deliver a message. Our whole generation should be able to share our feelings with these lyrics criticizing this digital world. During the chorus, we have this dance step where we stop quickly, it’s the first time it’s used in Korea, it’s a trend coming from Chicago called dubstep. I hope the majestic sound will touch the fans’ hearts too. We hope when fans listen to the song and watch us dance they can share their feelings.
Personally I loved our video MAMA though i heard the fans got scared when i had body paint all over my face and neck leaving a strong and unforgettable impression on whoever watched it for the first time.
Actually I'm upset with the way everyone reacted to it. I thought face painting was cool but I’ve heard it really surprised people who watched the music video at night. I personally thought it was okay…
"Even if I am mistaken as a blunt person, I am warmhearted"
I hear alot of fans say that I'm a very blunt or unamused person. Unfortunately I'm like this by nature. I'm a very blunt, chic, shy person. I don't exactly know how to express my feelings to everyone or anyone. It's actually a really hard thing for me to do. But I'm a very kind and warmhearted person when you get to know me more. Actually Joonmyun(Suho) Hyung announced that I was one of the most caring members in EXO.
Because of my bluntness and expressionless expresses I have had alot of fans ask me "Why are you in such a bad mood" or "Are you annoyed?" Sometimes it confuses me alot but i understand why they say it. I actually want to start interacting more and acting as if i know the meaning of having fun! I want to try doing new things such as 'Fanservice'. Such as being more playfully and doing ageyo. So i'm putting alot of effort into that!! I hope you'll see my changes and hopefully you'll feel more comfortable to approach me. <3
A trainee memory
When I was nothing but a trainee, There was a girl who use to always wait outside for Onew-Hyung. One weekend it was raining really hard, She was outside of the SMENT building waiting and I so happen to bump into her. I asked her "Who are you waiting for?" and she replied to me with "SHINee's Onew-Oppa." I told her that SHINee had just left the building about an hour or so ago. She gave me and frown while I just smiled and told her to go home, giving her my umbrella i had. I wonder if she still holds that umbrella. n______n
(This is a true story, Ever since that day she has been a fan of Kai. and she still holds the umbrella Jongin gave her.)
I'm actually really close friends with the group whom steals all the older girls' hearts SHINee. I was mentioned in SHINee's first album by Jonghyun-Hyung, Kibum-Hyung and Minho-Hyung. Even though Their sweet words touched me with telling me how successful I will be to debut in a group. I'm closest with their sweet Maknae Lee Taemin.

You're an amazing friend to me!! Even though we aren't able to meet up much and hang out around easyway with Strawberry milk tea. You're someone I call special to have made friends with. I find it really cool that we met over gaia and how we lived so close, like 15mintues for me to get into the city and bam!! I'm easily able to meet up with you! and I know you'll never be late. LOL!!! Though I swear I had seen you in the city before I even had the guts to ask you and Henrie to meet up with me.
I think you're adorablely sweet!! so caring about me! and Your fangirling over L.Joe, Myungsoo, Taemin and now Luhan is just funny to watch. xDD!! I can just picture you rolling on the ground spazzing about each one of them. xD!!!!~
I'm wondering when we'll be getting married on our accounts though!! I know, I know I'm whoring out your Taemin account! but hey don't you think it's funny how our accounts all have a connection?? Naeun and Taemin in salamander guru. Taemin and IU performing on stage singing Gee, Juliette and Hello together. Kai and Taemin are the best of friends. Youngmin and Kwangmin are twins! It's like someone wanted us to be friends. <333!
I hope in the future we'll be able to meet more! maybe when I'm more older and is able to go place by myself. ^_____^;; And if I ever become successful in my current dream, you'll be one I won't forget. <3333!
