- I'm 19, about to enter my sophomore year of college as a History major/Women's Studies concentrator, super language nerd
- I have an extremely odd range of interests, so really, talk to me about anything, I'll probably be able to come up with a response.
- I'm very, very liberal. Obama is center-left compared to my politics.

I haven't really been on Gaia for nearly two years, so if I act like an old person trying to figure out how to work a computer on the forums, that's why.

Well I don't like the "romance" in HP because it is more childish and all about lust really. The books don't even focus on romance and I think Rowling wrote it horribly. I can understand the appeal of "real" teenagers, but I can't stand real teenagers (well most of them) hence why I prefer a cast of characters that's a cut above their peers.

Actually, I've been seeing a lot of people mention the new movie was utter crap. Someone said it focused way too much on the teenage drama/romance and there was too much sexuality/drugs/alcohol and innuendo. That really puts me off. To be honest, one thing I don't like about HP is that the characters are a little too typically teenage. It might not be realistic, but I prefer main characters that are teenagers to be just a tad bit more mature lol

The HP movie has sort of renewed my interest. I love HP, I'll just never be as obsessed with it as I was around the PoA era haha

As for ED, aside from the ignorant people, they're so obsessed with intellectual (ie. fake intelligence) elitism and strict adherence to the idea of hardcore debate that there ends up being a complete lack of a nice, quality discussion. There's so much e-pen0r waving it's annoying.

My life is... blah right now, unfortunately. My best friend moved to England so it feels really lonely here and my grandpa (who we live with) is dying of lung cancer...

I find the Ed to be a mean, morally questionable place, personally. Well, me and some others regularly chat in the trinity guild. Outside of the guild, I tend to lurk in the hp subforum and LD, though I post more in the hp subforum.
