Hey there~! The name's Melissa, but you can call me anything BUT that online. I'm seventeen years old and I'm a huge fan of numerous things from anime/manga to musicals and video games. I'm not a very serious person. In fact, I'm quite the f*****t. I'm also a dickweed, so please keep that in mind. My birthday is on August 17 which makes me a Leo. I'm a ginger Britfag, but I currently live in Southern California.
I'm an artist. I like to draw in comic and anime/manga style, though most of my stuff is fanart and fandom crack. I really want to either be an actress or a Disney artist/cartoonist when I get out of high school. I'm hoping to go to college sometime next year.
I'm intensely interested in criminals such as serial killers, the mafia and organized crime, and pirates. I tend to like the psychopathic, sociopathic, and morbid characters along with characters with multiple personalities. I like watching TruTV and various documentaries on the History Channel about John Dillinger and other 1930s Gangsters.
I absolutely adore animals, though I can't stand most domesticated ones. My favorite animals are bobcats, African wild dogs, red pandas, wolves, and any other type of wild or house cat. I prefer cats over dogs and cats tend to follow me around and like me when they hate everyone else. I own a cat named Gizmo and a dog named Toby.
I absolutely love everything about Halloween, including horror movies. My favorite series are Saw, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and Final Destination. I also happen to enjoy action and thriller movies such as Tim Burton's Batman, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Watchmen, Phonebooth, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I also absolutely LOVE Disney. My favorite animated Disney movies are The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Great Mouse Detective, and Hercules.
I don't really watch anime anymore, but I do read manga and comic books. I've been keeping up with Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Black Butler, and Are You Alice. My favorite characters are Tsuna, Giotto, Sebastian, and Mad Hatter. I also like Edward Elric, Viral, Joshua Christopher, and Agito/Akito/Lind Wanijima.
I've been watching a lot of T.V. lately, such as The Sopranos, Teen Titans, Wipeout, I Survived a Japanese Gameshow, Lie To Me, Hell's Kitchen, The Office, and everything on Adult Swim sans the anime. I've also been watching a lot of classic cartoons such as Batman: The Animated Series, Beetlejuice, Thundercats, and Transformers: Armada.
My music taste is varied. I like everything from classical to heavy metal. My favorite band is Oingo Boingo, and my favorite composer is Danny Elfman. I'm obsessed with Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, and Vincent Price as well. They're my favorite people in the universe.
