I didn't know about Crywank because I don't really know about much music but I like the name and the song was beautiful, I'm sure you already know but it rang true for me too, more than just about any song I've listened to before so thank you for sharing.
Yeah I guess he's emotionally immature and the story spends a lot of time pushing in just how broken Jorge is from his childhood and to be fair he does realise what a terrible s**t he is more and more throughout the books and starts acting slightly better. But still even with all that I can't help but feel he's been written to appeal to people as a amoral hero and I don't like that the book seems to push the message that when the world has gone to s**t you need a hard and brutal person to solve things and that optimism is pointless, optimistic and good people never seem to last long in the trilogy.
Thank you I shall try to remember them, I have read King of Thorns though, I read the whole trilogy and enjoyed it but I have a few problems with it too, I mostly think it tries too hard to be dark and grim.
I remember the person who told me to read it telling me Jorge is his favourite protagonist in a fantasy book, after reading the books I now worry about his mind.
