I jumped on my hover board.I had to go help in my mother's salon after work,even if I hate it.I enjoy being a waitress more than a hairdresser or in my case a hair washer.You'd think that the year 3035 would be different.Sure there's hover bored,flying car,and moving sidewalks,but still girls can't get certain jobs.Like the job I want.I want the job my dad had before he died.So what if it's dangerous I can handle it.I have all the qualifications.I'm the best hover board rider in the city,I can shoot a laser gun from one thousand yards away and I know ten unearthly languages,but still I can't have the job just because I'm a girl. Oh well…I'm almost to my mother's salon.This is my favorite thing to do.Most people cross the street I go over it.Now you think this sounds crazy,but this is the year 3035.Oh…and in the future we down have actual streets we don't need them.We do have cross walks which link to the side walk together,but you have to wait 5 to 10 minutes and I'm all ready late.The good thing about hover boards as long as your board is at less a foot away from a surface no mater what angle you can ride it,but if some sort of plastic comes between it and the surface it will stop working trust me I know.So now I have to do my trick,I can hover board upside down.I'm the only one in the universe who knows how to do it.I turn towards a wall grab the top of my board.I go up the wall and under a cross walk.Eveyone under me looked up as I went over them.I got across and went down the wall.My mother's salon is only two shops down.I go throw the front door.Then some thing stops my board.This happen a lot.I crash in to a wall of hair spray.One of my better landing. One time I crashed into my mother.I sat up.I looked on the floor were my board was upside down.Right next to it was the cap of a hair spray bottle.I was so mad at my sisters.I stood up. My sisters were looking it me."Wich one of you left a…",I stopped short when I say who was at the front desk.It was two boy about seventeen one dress in a red space suits,one in a green space suit,both with a S.M. on it. S.M. stands for space man the job I want.It sound stupid,but it's actually cool.You get to see the universe save people and all that cool stuff."Hi sis this is Sam and Tom there from Space Team E.",said Saize my oldest sister.I have eight sisters no brothers and I'm the youngest.I look at them shocked."They need a new recruit",said Xena the second oldest."Your kidding",I said surprised."We are", said the one in the red"but your…",he was cut off when a phone rang. By the way phones in the future are holographic,it's cool.Oh and they look like a circle.He pulled out his phone and push a button.A hologram of a man in a blue space suit came up."Yes sir",he said."Tom Sam",said the hologram."Yes sir",they said."Did you to get the new recruit",he asked?"Well... um... we fond one,but...well",he said scratching the back of his head. "Just bring him to the ship now",said the hologram. "Okay",he said then he hung up. They looked up at me. I didn't noticed they were twins.I could see a little of there red hair from under there helmets. "Well do you want to be a...um space woman",the green one asked.My eye widened. "Really",I asked."Well were one team mate short",he said. "But",the other one said,"were not promising anything". "Yes", I said jumping up in the air. "Come on",said the red one opening the door.I followed him and his brother went after me.WOW!I never thought this would happen.I follow them down the street to an elevator. We got in,it started going up. We got off at the top,were the teleporters are."Okay",said the red one,"Zach would you beam us up to the ship"."Sure", said Zach ,"is she the new recruit", he asked looking me over."Will find out", said the red one, "Come on,"he said pushing me towards a teleporter."Okay stand here and don't move",he said positioning me.I rolled my eyes.He walked over to the one next to me and got on,so did his brother."Okay ready",he said. There was a flash of light and we were on the ship.
