In ancient Norse mythology, Dunnr was one of the original Valkyries of Valhalla, who were blessed by Odin. These Valkyries had the job of collecting the souls of fallen warriors to send them to Valhalla, where they would be trained under Odin's tutelage. After they had been trained thoroughly, Odin would equip them for battle. From then on, they would be ready for Ragnarok, the final battle between good and evil that would forever decide the balance of the world.

Dunnr was one of these Valkryies and toiled away with her sisters. Her sisters included Reginleif, the holy one, Njordsir, the daughter of the god Njord, and others. These Valkyries worked together to accumulate the fallen heros' souls to get a considerable force for the side of good in case of Ragnarok. They still await Ragnarok to this day. These Valkyries are opposed by the evils in the Norse world, which includes the trickster god Loki and the malevolent Hel.

The fallen souls of warriors are also referred to Einherjar at times. They seem to follow the god Heimdall occasionally, and possess loud horns to boost their morale and spirit in battles, especially in Ragnarok. They also seemed to be linked to the god of beauty, Baldr, who's powers can turn a simple villager into a mighty hero in preparation of the final battle.

To this day, the Valkyrie Dunnr roams the lands of Gaia, whos gods are known as the Administrators. Dunnr is truly an elegant man who masquerades as a sister Valkyrie, and has left her job of collecting souls for Valhalla and Ragnarok. While still favored by Odin, and still loyal to the god, she roams the lands of the GCD and Exchange, hoping one day to complete her many goals.
