Well, I guess I’d better get started on this, been on Gaia for a year now and still haven’t spruced up my profile. Here’s a little info about me for you nosey little people, my name’s Casey James Smith the 3rd. I was named after all the known Grandfather’s of my family, my favorite color’s crimson; I’m 18 going on 19 on the 20th November….the joy’s of getting old, I absolutely love Harry Potter (Sirius Black and Dobby are my magical idols ) I have all the book’s and movie’s except for the Deathly Hallow part 1 and I’m currently reading the Prisoner of Azkaban for the third time, like I say Sirius Black *.*, I reside in Great Britain and I’m currently in my second year of College studying for a business diploma ( Big stuff in the UK ). My favorite films are the Harry Potter series and the Chronicles of Narnia series....not to mention Stardust, Pirates of the Caribbean and much, much, much more.

On Gaia I’m mainly here for Role-Playing and zOMG. Basically I’m up for any Semi-Lit Harry Potter or Narnia Role-plays. I don’t hate but I frown upon random comment’s and PM’s…..only Comment or Message me if you can type properly. INVITE ME TO A GOOD H.P OR NARNIA ROLE-PLAY……BAI BAI…….

Unfortunately, it's not as alive as it used to xP. You see, I'd love to have kept it alive, however, it seemed the more I encouraged people to participate and collaborate on ideas to make the guild more active, the less active it became xP. I didn't want members to feel obligated to keep the guild alive either. I only wanted the type of people who were engaged and wanting to participate to actually do so. Unfortunately, that came down to a very small audience. Even gold/item contest attendance dropped significantly. One part of an event got absolutely no entries over around a 2 week submission period, not to mention, it was a rather easy category to win in. Flash event attendance also dropped, and the demand/want to attend dropped. The first event ever held had probably around 75-100 people attend? The last flash event only had around 10-15. Also, sadly, some of the features the guild had, such as the articles, were so poorly maintained. Often times, the writers of the articles would be busy or could not write on time, leaving me with a ton of work. Finding qualified writers was also rather difficult as only around 5-6 people submitted a form to join, yet only around half actually qualified. I for sure, don't have enough time to fully write all the articles that others don't have, primarily due to me being in the IB program and having TONS of homework all the time xD. And lastly, the moderation of the guild was very poor overall. There was this idea that I was some sort of almighty being, and hence, the moderating team did not do a good job in trying to raise interest, build the guild, etc... It was essentially left for me to do all by myself. And like said before, I certainly don't have the time to be planning contests or updating threads or answering people's questions all by myself. All in all, I don't have the gold to be advertising to get new members, especially when the advertising rarely gets members who are actually interested in the site. For like every 50 members that join, only a few actually participate, and even less would be considered major participants. The guild is still open for discussion. I visit from time to time to see what's happening xP.
