The department I work for in the public school system will be cut from the system after this year. And sadly my second job can't begin to cover all my bills by itself, especially not after I bought a car (even if it is used).
So the next job I'm looking for will be for at least one of 3 things: 1) pay more money, enough to live on and cover for at least a month or two of job hunting, 2) add resume material, so I can at least have a chance of improving my odds of finding work after the summer season ends, 3) be year round, that way I don't have to worry as much about finding extra work outside of my primary job.
It certainly has been a while. I'm doing pretty well, I'm juggling the tutor and amusement park jobs again (at least until October 31st). It feels kinda weird having no days off (tutor job goes Mon-Fri, amusement park goes Fri-Sun).
I'm reeeeeaaaaaally happy to be back. I'm also grateful for all my experiences on the mission. It's very strange to come back after two years and see how so many things have changed! But also, there are things that haven't changed. It reall adds to one's perspective.
