Oh god... Hmmm.
I would have to search for it. It's been years there hun.
It was something I was into in my pre-teen years.
That's almost 15 years now. *sigh* I'm getting old.
Anyways, I remember getting a major giggle session out of my friend reading that line to me out of the book.
She couldn't understand it herself much either. I'm guessing Mr. Adams must have read it too, unless it's a sign that 42 really is the answer to life.
If I come across it again you surely will be the first to know.
It does make me think though. I would like to find that again. If I knew where my old professer was, I'm sure he would know. We use to talk about a lot of philosophical things.
I saw a comment you made on the meaning of life... 42.
Yes but it's not just a reference to the hitch hikers guide books.
It's also a mathmatical equation to life.
42 really is the mathamatical equation to life. ... I really should pick up those books, I've heard nothing but good things from them and I did love the bbc series on them.
I think you mean God 'Delusion' not Dillema. But yes, after you get through the mind numbingness of his work you can really see how much he has to say about the world of today.
His books aren't the most entertaining, but intellectually intrigueing.
Besides, what kind of Atheist would I be if I'd never read the 'God Delusion'? Lol
