Did you find it challenging or not since you were in the advanced class? Did your skill level help it be less challenging if it was? surprised
Wow five to six hours for two courses? Did you have to sit the entire time, I don't think my body could take that much sitting sweatdrop
Oh man, that sounds nice. Have you ever though of going back for vacation or anything? smile
I've traveled to Mexico by car so we had to pass by Texas so I had the chance of seeing all the landscape there.
It was a mix of amazing and yay more desert gonk

Ah ok, of course that makes sense.
How was it when you studied abroad when it came to actual class?
What were you learning? How many classes did you take and how long was each school day?
How were the teachers?
So do you plan on teaching in Busan? I've seen pictures of Seoul and it looks breathtaking! So many lights and huge buildings! Are most bigger cities in Korea like that?
How do you compare it to America? I've been to Texas a couple of times! It's huge and so hot! smile
Did you buy anything besides food during your time there? I love the idea of menus being outside! So much less pressure when your already inside!
My gf and I go to a Japanese/Korean "cafe" once a week when we can and they have their menu on a wall inside of their place. There's a number by each food item with the respective picture. It's really awesome! biggrin
I have netflix and occasionally I watch international movies. I saw a movie from Hong Kong, called The Midnight After, and it was really good. I love horror movies smile

Oh gosh! I hope you're feeling better now. I stuck an index card in my locker to keep it open for always. I don't keep anything but my lunchbox in it anyway.
Extraterrrestre Report | 09/22/2016 10:22 am
Oh yea! That's a huge motivation, it seems like it all worked out at end! smile
Okay that makes sense, would it have been complicated to register yourself in the system in order to work there?
Do you plan on working in the same city you studied abroad in if you get the visa to work there, or do you have somewhere else in mind? surprised
During your time abroad did you stay in Suwon the whole time or did you get to travel? Did you get to go to Seoul? biggrin
Nice, it sounds like there was a nice mix of different people and cultures there.
Ok, makes sense! It's awesome that you don't need subtitles as much. Do you watch a lot of Korean dramas? Do you ever watch any Korean horror movies? biggrin

Awesome, do you enjoy writing. Like does it come easy to you? The most I ever did when it came to writing was papers for class. I don't hate writing but I get easily distracted. gonk
You said you worked part time. Was that during your time In Korea or before your went, as in you saved money before you went? Oh nice, an international dorm? That must have been really cool. What other nationalities of students were there?
I lived, still do, with my parents during college. It helped me save money instead of having to pay for rent somewhere which was nice. Once I get enough money from my new job I plan on moving closer to it. Right now I live around an hour away from this new job so I hope to move out before winter comes because it gets really bad here. sweatdrop
Oh yeah, it's a very cool language. It would be really cool if I was more proficient! I gotta take baby steps though lol. smile
That's really cool, it must be easier for you to watch Korean films and shows since you're so good at it. Do you still watch them with subtitles?
I know Spanish, which helped me out a lot during my high school years and helped me in college by giving me the credits for it instead of having to take the actual classes. smile
Extraterrrestre Report | 09/21/2016 10:42 am
Oh really? lol wow sounds interesting smile
Nice, being debt free must be such a relief! So you were given scholarships by writing essays? Nice, what kind of essays were they? biggrin
Oh wow, it must have been so interesting. What did you do for fun around there? Did you live in a house with a family who was hosting you? Did you get a job there in order to pay for stuff?
Oh wow, 6 months! Waiting is the worst part! It took 3 months of exams and interviews for me to got my new job but I can't image 6 months! surprised
Yes! I tried learning some of the letters but at the time It looked very difficult. There were many letters that looked like those in the English alphabet but did not actually represent them.
I though it would maybe be easier if I learned to speak some Russian first. smile
I honestly though it was interesting because of how it sounds when spoken so I decided to see if I could learn myself. I'm still learning and I am enjoying the experience!
I'm assuming you already knew Korean when you studied abroad so when did you actually start and what made you interested in it? smile

Extraterrrestre Report | 09/20/2016 11:14 am
I also think it will be very interesting, it's a job I will be very proud off! I know a couple of my cousins have also been to jail, I don't believe any of them went as far as prison which is good.
Hahaha, Yes I know! No bribes! I heard horror stories in connection with bribes in school many times.
Oh wow, congratulations! How long have you been in school for? I just graduated this May from College.
I wish I would have studied abroad somewhere, it's literally the best experience someone can get!
Do you know how long the process lasts for? I can only imagine it's very long and tedious. surprised
I speak both English and Spanish but I'm currently learning some Russian. I have yet to learn any letters from the Russian alphabet which means I can't read or write in Russian. What I do know is how to speak some Russian and how to pronounce some words which is a good start, lol. I only started learning about three months ago because I got curious. smile
Extraterrrestre Report | 09/20/2016 10:50 am
Well, right now I work at a restaurant but I just got a new job as a correctional officer at a city jail so I will be starting that soon.
Oh nice, are you learning Korean? It must be for school right?
I'm trying to learn another language in my free time when I can smile
Extraterrrestre Report | 09/19/2016 3:08 pm
Not much! I was getting ready for work but I then I got the afternoon off smile what about you? Nice avi btw, it all goes good together!
Extraterrrestre Report | 09/19/2016 1:04 pm
Hahaha, yes I think we are playing that. I didn't think you would catch on so fast. I was gonna see how long we could keep that streak going on. smile
