Happy freakin Birthday! I missed it, and I feel bad now, and I wish we could hang out more but we're both busy people and I get it. I don't think there's a single person in the world who doesn't go through a lot, you know? We all have things we go through, and they effect us whether its big or small. Just because it's not happening to you, it doesn't make it any less serious.

Yeah, it's honestly really unfortunate.
Like. For me, Emotional Abuse is a serious thing. My ex did that to me for 2 years and I let him. I have mental scars. I can't stand certain things, and quite a lot of them are related to 18+ stuff.
But Emotional Abuse is hard to detect, and when it is anyone who isn't a doctor is like "oh get over it it wasn't anything". But they fail to understand the real damage it causes.
In the minds of todays people, if it isn't as Physical as losing an eye or a limb, it's not that serious.. but when that same pain causes someone elses child to do things like commit suicide, suddenly the care.
It's honestly Disgusting..

I agree completely.
To be honest, a lot of the older parents these days are very.. misunderstanding of their children.. Not even, of this generation.
My own Mom often goes on about how my generation is "Too Emotional" and such because we voice our opinion. That, and she "doesn't believe in mental disabilities". To her, things like Autism is an excuse no to do things like work or speak to others but they are REAL things that effect our speech and mental patterns.

Honestly, I just assume is because they're both from the Military so they just are tough in general. I don't think they mean ill will, but It's not like he gives them any other choice. When he gets home, all he does is sit in his room and play games. He barely tries to socialize even though I tell him he should.
