My name is Despoena, and I've been on Gaia since June of 2004. I was 16 when I joined, and now I'm 22 and I feel really, really old.

As you may have noticed, my username is green. That means I'm a moderator! I am currently a global moderator, meaning I handle abuse and harassment cases as well as other stuff : D

I'm an illustration and design major at the Art Institute of Atlanta, meaning I currently live in Georgia. It's fairly hot here. As my major would suggest, I enjoy art, comics, illustrations, anything drawn! I also love my music, my favorite musicians currently being The Residents and Mirah.

I get a few questions about my username. It's pronounced "Des-poh-ee-na", and it comes from a small story in greek mythology. Click here for the story!
