Designtank, which is an interior design studio that’s based in Brisbane is led by Estelle Cameron. Estelle insists on nothing less than the delivery of innovative, high-quality design solutions tailored for you, your home, as well as your lifestyle.

Estelle Cameron is the creative force behind the studio and its founder. She is onto her second career. Her first career involved the management of projects in the IT and banking industries, then after moving north and starting a family, she decided to listen to her heart, something she’s really proud of.

Estelle’s second career path began with a creative urge and a need for change, several years of study, and a Diploma of Interior Technology. She started Designtank with a diploma in hand and a small business dream, building a network of industry professionals and gaining practical experience on both small and big jobs and has established a successful business.

Estelle is a problem solver and a detail fanatic, and action taker and a listener too. She, and the solid industry network she has managed to build have the creative ideas, practical know-how and industry knowledge needed to bring your renovation project to life.

It is why we offer a 30-minute Project Briefing Consultation either on the job site or in your home or even with a cuppa over drafted plans as an initial complimentary service for those in our service area.

The free consultation we offer provides all the information required to come up with a custom fee proposal for your project. It also allows you to get a feel for how we work and understand how Designtank will contribute to your project in a positive way.

2. Renovation Consultation

Perhaps you have had some plans drawn up for a new build or renovation, but you aren’t sure whether the layout is the best that it can be. Perhaps you have missed something. Perhaps it is all a bit overwhelming and you need some tips, guidance, and encouragement before jumping into the construction zone. Need some assistance?

It is during the Renovation Consultation that all your questions will be answered and any issues you have talked through and advice given to provide you with knowledge and confidence before the process of building commences. Renovations are typically expensive and it is important to be sure that the decisions and planning you make are the best ones possible for your family and home.

The Renovation Consultation is a 90-minute session and it is important to bring your pen and paper since you will definitely want to take notes. I try cramming in as much information as possible to help with your project. If you are in my service area, I can either visit your home or we can meet in my office.

The service has a fixed consultation price and has empowered clients in the past to make the changes needed and jump the hurdle between plans on paper and builders on site.
