Just wanted to say, after seeing your posts in the "Whoopin' kids" thread, thank you.
Being someone who was beaten/whopped/spanked growing up and is still dealing with the psychological fallout for that and other directly-related abusive parenting tactics (and probably will be for a very long time), it felt extremely validating and reaffirming to read all that. Especially in the midst of all those pro-spanking/ blurbs. confused
I expected something like this in the blogosphere, so it's refreshing to read replies like that on this forum, of all places.
